I’ve been bringing my daughter here for lessons now for almost 9 months and she absolutely loves it.Ann, Danny and all of the team are brilliant and really care for their horses and students.I’m amazed at how far my daughters riding has come along since she started (aged 5) and is now riding confidently and enjoying the group sessions. Highly recommend if you’re local and looking for riding lessons.

I've been having weekly lessons here for the past few months since I moved to the area. The yard and staff are lovely and at £22 for an hour's group lesson, it's amazing value for money. My instructor is excellent and clearly knows what she's talking about and what I need to practice. They have two outdoor arenas and one indoor, none of them are massive but big enough for group lessons, even when jumping. Plus they're floodlit so there's no stopping even in winter! The only slight downside I've found is some of their horses can be challenging, so you've got to be ready to put some effort in to get them going! Overall a really lovely riding school for all ages and abilities.

I booked in for a private hack as my own horse is retired and I learnt to ride here 40 years ago, when Kay ran it. My instructor was not very welcoming to start with...she asked me no questions , but just brought out a very tired looking pony for me to ride who seemed quite old ( no one knew his age when asked ) was rather thin and very lethargic ( and not in a lazy pony way ). I almost got off and led him at one point. At the end of the ride the instructor never even said goodbye or thanks...just went off.Very dissapointing.

What a fabulous riding school. The lessons are the perfect mix of learning and fun. The ponies and horses are cared for and loved. Instructors are experienced and knowledgeable and make you feel comfortable whatever your level. Can't recommend highly enough.

Good facilities, wide range of horses for all abilities, horses are well looked after and happy. Lessons are good value for money and with knowledgeable instructors. Done amazingly well to adapt to covid restrictions feels really safe and expectations on the yard are clear. 20 years well spent at this friendly yard - feels like family ❤️ It’s always the first place I’d recommend.

Having a great time returning to riding lessons after a few years off. The horses I've ridden have been lovely - responsive, well-schooled and enjoying their work. Instruction is thoughtful, supportive and focussed on enabling me to be the best I can be. Loving it! :-D

Willow Farm Equestrian CentreIt says in the website “if you want to visit us please feel free to drop during opening hours… and a member of staff will gladly show you around”. That’s what I did.. I went there this morning with my parents. My father is a military officer in Brazil, spent his whole life in cavalry working with horses. More than 50 years of experience with dressage and also an international polo umpire. Because of his background, I wanted to make him happy showing him a place that would really mean something to him. When I got there he was super happy and excited.. even before entering the place he was already comparing things to what he is used to see back home…I asked a lady if someone could show us around and another woman called me from the admin office. She said visits were not allowed, only for people with interest on having classes. I told her I was interested on classes for my daughter, and she said there was a waiting list with 30-35 children and if I wanted to wait for 3 to 5 months, then fine, but she would recommend checking other places. She said I would have to leave because nobody was insured… so I told my father we had to go.. when leaving the place, a cute dog came near me, as if he could tell how upset I was. So I played a bit with the cute dog only to hear the same woman calling the dog, as if I was a threat or somebody ill.I can’t express how disappointed I am and how indelicate the whole thing was. — feeling disappointed.

Had a lesson here a while back. After telling them how much I weighed they put me onto a weight carrying 14’1-14’2 odd cob, lesson went ok didn’t really brush up on much at all, rang back to book another lesson to be told I was too big for their horses and the horse was ‘struggling’ G thanks, I’m not a tank either! Yes I’m curvy but my mare sure as hell does not ‘struggle’Will not return.
