St. James's Church

Our visit on this occasion was secular. Ian Fleming's resting place.A charming village church, easy to reach, with the Chrystal containing the grave of Ian Fleming, of James Bond game.Please, if you go to visit there to pay your respects or to worship as a visitor, be aware that the driveway that looks as if it goes up to the Church is not the Church access, but somebody's home.Please find a safe parking place (there are not many in the village, but please try), and walk the couple of hundred yards to the church.It is a restful place, very tranquil.Fleming's grave, while the largest there, is still modest and unassuming.A little-known treasure.
