Called at 8am waited a little while in a queue - this is to be expected. Polite and friendly receptionist answered and delt with me quickly and efficiently. Called by Dr Mohan to assess my clinical needs further and then seen by Dr Rajcholan who again very friendly and professionally delt with my issues. Never have any problem with this surgery or GP’s here. Thank you all for helping me today!

Reception staff on telephone always helpful and polite HOWEVER on two separate occasions my Mum, who is 91 has attended an appointment to have her leg dressed to be told (on the one occasion after nearly an hour’s wait) the nurse couldn’t see her. She was told to go to the Walk In Centre in W’ton. If we hadn’t been with her, there is no way she could have got there alone. When her leg looked infected, I had to ask for antibiotics, only to be told by the nurse she couldn’t prescribe them. I had to insist she find someone in the practice who could - I got a prescription. I live elsewhere and compared to the fantastic service I get at my GP’s, the clinical service at this practice is shockingly bad. If I thought it would make any difference I would complain.

I've been trying to get an appointment for over a year, calling almost daily and they either don't answer (spent up to 3 hrs waiting in a queue and they didn't answer at all), or by the time I get through there's no appointments. We can't make future appointments now so it's like the Hunger Games at 8am trying to get in the queue to get a same day appointments... The odds have never been in my favour...All appointments are gone by the time I get through and I get told to call back at 2pm just to do the same thing all over again. In December I was in the reception with my daughter who had a nurse appointment, 2 people in the reception cancelled their appointment due to the school run, they were able to make an appointment for the next day, so I asked if I could get one of their appointments for that day and I was refused, I then asked if I could get one the next day and told I have to call at 8am the next day for an appointment. Why were the other 2 allowed to make appointments for the next day after cancelling but I wasn't? And why wasn't I allowed to take one of their appointments? And why do I have to give my medical history to the receptionist letting the whole waiting room know my health problems?I've had pain in my chest for over 2 years and Covid prevented me getting it looked at and now this new appointment system is preventing me getting it looked at. I also have high blood pressure that is going untreated but I still can't get an appointment.Do I literally have to die in reception in order to get an appointment?

Based on other reviews I cannot say I have had an issue with the rudeness of the staff, if anything, I think they're quite friendly. However the surgery needs more GPs. Dr Rajcholan seems to do as she pleases. There have been times where I have expected a call in the morning and it's not happened until the next day, she prescribes items without you being told and it took a week for my son who was suffering with his mental health for a callback by which time he had ended up in hospital. However when she has called back, she's thorough but the call does feel rushed and a bit one sided.I just think they're doing the best they can in the current climate and we all need to understand that patient numbers are ever increasing and the available GPs aren't, putting the ones who are still working in surgeries under immense pressure.

I have had issues with this practice for years including mixing up my appointments, getting my information incorrect on multiple occasions etc. but recently they have been linking my phone number to people's files who have nothing to do with me. I've received multiple phone calls asking to speak to the mother/father of patients (I don't have kids so this definitely isn't anything to do with me). When I explain that they have the wrong number they just get very defensive and rude and say it's not their fault. Please be careful when giving your info to this surgery if you have conditions/concerns that you want kept private and confidential as they have no regard for GDPR what so ever.

I have visited this practice twice in the last month and saw a wonderful Dr Madzima he is a locum GP. He has the time to listen to you and is very understanding. He is a CREDIT to this surgery.

We changed to Ashmore Park GP due to having a really poor experience with Primrose lane GP. And I have to say that every time I've called, I've had great success with the receptionist, the nurses and the GP. I'm really impressed. No complaints from us at all.And in a time when GP surgeries are getting such Bad press.... I think it's important to share good experiences too.

This doctors surgery is a absolute joke if your expecting to get seen by any kind of doctor you might aswell go and clog a&e up instead because it's faster, the receptionist is as enthusiastic as a dead cat and basicly fobs you off and just tells you to go to the walk in centre, the medical centre has cancelled any kind of booking system so you have to ring at 8am and if you work for a living you might aswell not bother ringing as there's nothing left by 8 05am something need to be done or it might aswell be shut

I have been having great experiences and encounter with them. The doctors were nice; nurses were nice; and the other staff were also nice. They have suitable facilities required for GP surgery. There is also eye clinic there. If you call on time, you will get appointments as soon as possible. The environment were clean and tidy, with good toilets facilities.Good GP.

i phoned up this morning as my daughter needs medical attention to be told that we are not on there system!! We have been with this surgery for over 10 years and have been there many times. When i asked the receptionist what is going on she replyd that Admin had deleted me and my whole family of the system! is that even legal? Ive forwarded my concerns on to the black country integrated care board (ICB)
