Went to a carboot sale lots of different stuff to buy . It was really busy

Every Sunday from 8am car boot sale.Lots and lots of thing's to buy some new most second hand all my kids love it here

Recently organised the Scottish Self-Build and Renovation event at Thainstone Exchange. Top marks to the event management and operations teams for setting up seamlessly in advance of us arriving for our own set up. The team were on-hand all weekend, attentive and willing to support. Our exhibitors were complimentary about the venue and visitors to the event were happy about the parking, access and the flow, due to the space available to us. Top marks!

The fire festival held here was absolutely lovely. We had such a great time. Parking was easy.

Would not rate this car boot sale as a seller.The space you get is cramped, it’s a singular parking space, even though the carpark is huge and it was never going to be filled.The woman directing (dictating) you to your space was rude, shouting when you asked why we can’t have more space. Shouting rules are rules before walking off.Never did check that we paid online for a space, however that’s not necessary as you can turn up and pay on the day. Just typically wanting people to book the night before and if the weather isn’t good then you’ve already paid whether you turn up.I don’t understand why you can park at 7am and not open your boot until 8am. Dare open it before 8am and she’s back barking orders at you. (By 730am I think people ignored it and all the boots were open)It rained and if you’ve sold all your stuff then it’s difficult to leave.We sold a fair amount of stuff so that’s why it’s at least 3 star.Staff need working on.

Thainstone Sunday Market is a great day out for bargain hunting good weather or bad.

Usually events and fairs are worth visiting here. Good parking, disabled access and family oriented events. My kid really enjoyed the model fair, and the car show this year
