Swim with Kayleigh

I have been taking my little girl since she was 3 months old, and it is amazing to see how much she has grown in confidence in the water in the 3 months since then. We are away on holiday right now and took her to the local pools and as soon as she was in the water she was kicking her legs and moving her arms and had a really good time. This is definitely because of Kayleigh's lessons - she wouldn't tolerate being in the water before! Very glad we started with Ready Steady Splash, I really wanted her to be confident in the water from the start and it is obvious that she doesn't find it so scary anymore. I can't recommend Kayleigh's lessons enough for anyone with a little one.

I have been taking my son since the very start. He absolutely loves the water and has no fear, Kayleigh is a wonderful teacher she makes the class fun and he loves going! Since my son loved it we signed up our daughters as well, my youngest daughter really wanted to learn but hated going to classes/clubs Michelle has been very patient with her and she’s come on leaps and bounds! She’s learnt so much and now loves going! Highly recommend the classes!

Highly recommend Ready Steady Splash. Our daughters confidence in the water has increased massively since starting. She was initially very shy but looks forward to her class every week now!

Kayleigh is such a great teacher and very sweet and patient with the babies. My wee one loves it and is calm as soon as she enters the pool. I felt welcome straight away as a new mum and it is the highlight of our week.

The BEST experience for our little one, and now the only way we would want her to learn how to swim. Covid and lockdowns and full-time working meant that we didn't take her anywhere near a swimming pool when she was a baby, despite our best intentions, but she started at RSS when she was 2 and it was the best thing we ever did in terms of water safety and swimming confidence. Kayleigh and Michelle are so skilled at what they do and really take the time to get to know and understand your child, even if their needs are slightly different from others. Our wee girl loves her weekly sessions and learns so much from them. Highly recommend!!

We first met Kayleigh in Inverness in 2021 when our original swimming teacher left and we weren’t sure how it would go with someone new as we liked the old teacher but it didn’t take long to realise that Kayleigh was a great teacher. Our son was making good progress so we were really disappointed when she left and we gave up swimming lessons shortly after. When we heard about Ready Steady Splash we thought long and hard about travelling the 45 minutes to Nairn for lessons but knew we wanted Kayleigh to teach our children so we went for it and now go twice a week so that both our children can have lessons. We have not been disappointed and even after a break it hasn’t taken long for our 3 year old to get his confidence back and our 5 month old is a real water baby too. The lessons have good content with the children learning skills but in a fun way so it doesn’t feel like a lesson to them, they’re just having a great time. I’m so glad we gave Kayleigh a chance in the first place and love her lessons so much we followed her to Nairn!

I can’t recommend ready, steady splash highly enough. Both of our children started lessons with Kayleigh and have come on leaps and bounds in terms of their confidence in the water. Our eldest has now progressed into lessons with Michelle and James and he’s doing amazing at learning all the different swimming strokes now. All the swim teaches are great with the kids and it really shows by how much the kids love their lessons with them.
