I am very pleased with my treatment and how I feel now. It is wonderful to be taken seriously by an expert doctor who wants to get you to optimal levels not just acceptable. Private health care costs but I value my health and well-being more and I feel I get my moneys worth. I also value not having to deal with the terrible service and lack of choice with the nhs. Highly recommended

I haven't actually been treated by Dr. Frey yet but from what I have experienced, he is very good. He was kind and he took the time to talk with me for free and listened and explained things to me in detail which I appreciate because I know more than most doctors think I do because I want to understand what's going on and be able to think for myself. The reason I haven't been a patient yet is because I found him mid-pregnancy and he said it's safest to wait til the baby is born so we're not starting a new treatment protocol during pregnancy. From what I do know, I appreciate that he tries to understand what's going on on a deeper level and address the root problems rather than just treat the symptoms.

I was offered a free 15 minute consultation which I was glad to accept. After speaking with Dr. Frey, it became clear that he knew more about my thyroid issues than most doctors and endcrinologists that I have consulted in the last 42 years. Call this Doctors office with the knowledge that if you decide to hire him as your thyroid consultant you are in safe expert hands.

Very happy and relieved to find CountryHealth after returning from abroad. The website is easy to use. Dr Frey understood my history, struggles and is very knowledgeable in the issues of the thyroid outwith the normal. Dena at reception is always quick to answer emails and point you in the right direction regarding reports etc. I struggled with my thyroid for 20 years using the usual T4 meds and had only just started the lowest dose of NDT before returning to the UK. I am so grateful to have found CountryHealth and their complete empathy to guide you to a stronger version of yourself. My dosage of NDT has slowly been increased and I am now functioning so much better, more energy, less brain fog and much less of the horrible symptoms that lost me so much time in my life.

Years of suffering, back & forth to the nhs with numerous problems including constipation, heavy periods, hair loss, feeling cold, low mood, fatigue, painful joints, muscle loss, fibrocystic breasts to be told go on the pill, you need antidepressant’s nothing wrong with you (of which I wouldn’t!) even when my bloods showed high antibodies nothing was done just to monitor annually! I'm so glad I was guided to Dr Frey and his lovely team as my autoimmune condition was not improving under traditional NHS supervision. They are helpful, professional and friendly plus I'm being taught how to help myself and understand my condition, not just advised to take a tablet. It really is functional medicine and any reviews which suggests he dares to charge for his services needs to appreciate how affordable CountryHealth is when compared to private medicine (which may not necessarily be the right treatment for many of us)! My lovely NHS doctor is fully on-board with me taking a functional approach under Dr Freys's guidance, as he appreciates this is the way forward in many autoimmune conditions. After suffering with Thyroid health issues and my GP being unable to help to investigate my condition further I took matters into my own hands and began a search to find someone who could help me understand my condition as well as prescribe alternative medication that is not prescribed readily on the NHS that might help alleviate my symptoms. On searching the UK Thyroid website I came across Dr Frey's name mentioned on numerous occasions and in turn contacted Country Health. I had an initial free telephone call with Dr Frey at a time that was convenient and he explained fully the procedure involved and made sure that the service offered by the clinic was suitable for my needs. I have made contact with Dena who is polite, efficient and very supportive you almost feel that you have known her for quite some time. The process of forwarding your blood results to ordering your repeat Thyroid report and subsequent medication is super easy to follow. The chemist receives your prescription electronically from Dr Frey and I found them also to be very helpful and extremely quick delivery. I have no hesitation in recommending others to make use of the services of Country Health for their Thyroid health needs I feel very safe and supported under their care.

At last I have a doctor who is taking an informed, expert interest in my thyroid health. Dr Frey takes a holistic approach because an under active thyroid impacts so many aspects of one’s health.

Armour was great at first but then when my dose was doubled (too quickly in my opinion) over half my head of hair fell out in 2 weeks and my skin was peeling off rapidly. I tried to communicate this though dr freys assistant but he didn't contact me to talk it through, just doubled the dose again. I've come off it now (hair stopped falling) but when I commented on his Facebook group about the medication side affects he blocked me from commenting. That has shown me his true colours, greedy and without genuine interest in helping his already vulnerable thyroid patients!P.s his response is a lie, he left my post up and even commented on it asking why armour wasn't working for me, he only blocked me when I responded about the side affects.You know what you did Dr Frey shame on you!
