East Somerset Railway - (Cranmore West,Station)

Brought a cream tea experience on the train for a christmas present.. when booking they state that dont do the cream tea for that price anymore. I feel we should have been offered the experience we paid for as it had changed.For us it worked out £25 per person.. £14 for a 2 mile ride on a dusty train and £11 for a average cream tea afterwards. No room indoors so had to sit in the cold. An hour overall experience for £150. A real disappointment.

Lovely place to visit with family and children

An adequate but not premier league preserved railway. The artifacts are interesting especially the signal box, but the train ride is a short there and back ride in cramped, rather tired carriages.

A very friendly place to Volunteer, a great sense of belonging, to a place to help with the running of mainly steam engines, also has a good miniature railway.
