I ordered a taxi at the last minute to take me to the airport as I wasn’t sure I would be able to make the trip. I was told 10-15 mins by the helpful lady on the phone it arrived early and I was driven by a lovely guy Owen. Fixed price great deal, great service folks!

Abacus Travel Services - Minibus Hire
Booked a collection from Airport and paid extra for meet and great. Nobody was there to collect us and after a few phone calls we were asked to walk to the departure lounge. Our driver arrived to collect us but it was all very confusing and not what we had paid for.

For the last 5 days we've emailed and had a response with a quote, great! Until we try to pay in advance for a minibus to take 9 family members from Sale to the Etihad Stadium and back at a cost of £90.We've rang umpteen times, only to be transferred to Sharon, then for the phone to be cut off. Sick to death of this ' can't be arsed' attitude!! At least 6 phone calls and each time cut off! And not cheap calls either as we live in Spain!!We won't be using your company, we will be telling everyone in the South Trafford area, what a completely unprofessional bunch they are.

If I could give this joke of a company a 0 star rating I would, I pre booked a taxi over 4 hours early for my wife to get to work. The time comes when the taxi should arrive an d no sign, wife calls the office only to be told the taxi is running behind by 20-25minutes. This is not the first time this has happened hence why I called them and pre booked the taxi myself, they have cancelled at the last minute and when they don't cancel they can be anywhere from 10-30 minutes late depending on what day and what time it is. Absolute joke

Would score lower if I could! Booked taxi for airport & return, going was fine but on return when we phoned to say ready for pick up we were told they were awaiting confirmation from us, thought that fact we'd booked was enough & weren't told we had to confirm? Luckily there was a taxi in the area so didn't have to wait too long, but the journey home OMG!!!!! With sat nav set we set off, he missed his turning for Lymm so took the scenic route via Tatton Park almost & we had to give the driver directions how to get to Partington. Its normally a straight run from Manchester Airport to Partington. Needless to say won't be using again.

Pre-booked & paid for NYE to go to a local restaurant. Arrived early and rang the mobile to ensure we were aware he was outside. All good, picked up on time in the early hours and taken straight home. No fuss, no issues and at a reasonable price for NYE!

First time to get a taxi from them and never again. Driver is now 15 mins late and bloody company didn't even have the decency to inform us and I had to call to find out. It's not like we didn't book this the night before. We might just miss our bus now for the airshow. No respect for other people's time. Useless people!

Avoid these completely they will never ever arrive on time. Doesn't matter if you ring them hours before you need the taxi they will still manage to be late, absolutely infuriating. You'll also be lucky to get a driver who speaks fluent English or have the first clue where they are going without a sat nav.Simply terrible, avoid at all costs, use anyone else

Will NOT use again. Prebooked a taxi to Mcr airport. Taxi over 20 mins late. When driver eventually arrived he told us control aware of delays as probs with staffing that day. Noone had bothered to call us & inform us. Driver not particularly apologetic. Used Uber for return journey- fantastic service. Tried to support a local taxi firm. Will be using Uber from now on.

Would give no star if could. Use the taxi service for my husband to get to work on Sundays the operator is always rude and abrupt when calling either to book in advance or to check where the taxi is after being booked but doesn't arrive on time. really bad customer service. Husband does say drivers are nicer.
