From start to finish  The parking is available which is every helpful.  The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. They did a amazing job installing the fireplace and he checked the carbon monoxide alarms. The charges and transformation of  the livingroom is unbelievable great. We would highly recommend this company..

What company charges for quotes nowadays? Not only was we charged £30 for a quote, but never even received it! Rang up for a refund to be told by the person who took my money that I'd have to speak to somebody else.... avoid

Absolutely thrilled with my new LED fire and limestone surround. Mr Jackson and Stu are complete professionals and nothing was too much trouble. Also, a special mention to the wonderful lady who works in the showroom. I would not hesitate to recommend Doncaster Fireplace Centre for both exceptional quality and service.

Absolutely disgraceful and appalling performance from Tim Jackson “the owner”. He has tricked my dear wife to pay a large sum of money as a deposit before giving quotation. The next day the quotation rose to unacceptable amount. Tim Jackson refused to give the deposit back. We are taking legal actions against this business. Beware!!!

This was the second time I have used the Fireplace Centre. They were exteremly helpful from walking into the showroom to having my fire and marble fireplace installed. Jane was lovely. I travelled some distance to the showroom and the first thing she did when I arrived was sit me down with a cup of coffee. Now that's what I call looking after your customers! Jane was extremely helpful and there was no pressure to purchase, just help and advice. I would definately recomend them to anyone looking to purchase a new fireplace. The whole team were brilliant. Thankyou Jane and the fitters.

Charged £30 for a quote which we never received after they came to see what we wanted, asked for refund by the lady who took the money to be told we would have to come in shop and speak to Tim. Tim came to do the quote which he didn't take any measurements, was there all of 5 minutes. Within that 5 minutes he spoke negativly about other companies in doncaster saying they were using cheap materials. I feel this was said to put us of getting quotes elsewhere. We obv got quotes elsewhere where they came with samples, took measurements and spoke in depth of what needed doing. Safe to say I would avoid this company.

After visiting the Fireplace Centre (Doncaster) Ltd showroom and talking to the sales staff about our requirements, we found they had the actual gas fire we were considering purchasing in stock to see. The sales staff were very helpful and after making another visit to the showroom we bought the gas fire. The fire is a Charlton & Jenrick Paragon P9 glass fronted gas fire with a remarkable 81% efficiency. The installation involved the removal of a large quantity of stone cladding from around our existing fireplace and the relocation of the gas supply pipe to feed the new fire. The company workmanship was excellent throughout the whole project through to commissioning the new fire. We are very pleased with the final outcome and give our recommendation for this company.

Well what can I say.From walking in and meeting Tim who was a fitter and also a sales rep. He talked us through all the fires explained costs involved with each design from gas to wood burning stoves etc.He also explained about flu and the impression we got from other shops trying to miss sell us a full flu which we didn’t need after speaking with Tim if we went for a stove. Instead we went with a fire I love them had one as a child and loved sitting on front of one so that was our decision. He made it very easy to choose between designs and explaining the benefits etc.After sale the support was great and also when fitting day came the 2 lads that fitted it were brilliant very professional and also very accurate and the quality of the fit was brilliant.Fully recommend from end to end thanks teamNick and Chelsea

Absolutely appalling fitters , after telling us when they came to quote the work that they had a plasterer I came home to find it left in such a state i had to take off what they had done , not what I would expect after paying just shy of 9k , after speaking with other people who have had log burners fitted by other companies they finished they’re work and left it neat and tidy , not Tim ,it is now going to cost me more time and money to put right the debacle he has left it in , when I emailed him with my annoyance he simply did now acknowledge the complaint and recommended me a plasterer , after reading reviews on YELL it would appear other customers have had the same experience , it begs belief how some people on here have given a good review I WOULD NOT USE THIS COMPANY !

When I spoke to the fitter on the phone he was very helpful and made me keen to visit with the view to purchase. Sadly upon visiting we was greeted by sue who was very pushy then reluctant to sell. Sue called me to give a very vague quote totally different price which was suggested by the fitter. Sue was rude and has certainly stopped us from purchasing. Only way to check if the fire was suitable and to obtain a quote for fitting was to pay £30! Sorry but I won’t be going back ever
