Mamy street arts along the street. If you are into graffiti art and you need a place to draw then this street is the best for ya.participated in an exhibition that was well organized and found many interesting pieces.

It was lovely to do something different. Just found it very cold as doors were left open, had I been warned I would have put alot more layers on as I suffer with autoimmune disease and feel extremities alot more

A small gallery down the very narrow (and somewhat intimidating Leonard’s Lane. It has a wide range of art on show. Often exhibitions only last a few days and the artists are often relatively edgy and avant garde. Well worth seaking out. A visit will often only last 15 minutes due to the size of the venue. Artists are often there which adds to the experience as you get a chance to chat with them about their work

Popped in to the workshop space for a Waygoose (gathering of letter press artists and artisans) exhibition and sale. It was put on by The Letter Press Collective who have their studio in the adjoining space and we were given the chance to see their wonderful set up. Some beautiful items on sale at the show as well as good coffee and cake. A great artistic hub tucked away in the heart of Bristol old city.

A surprising art gallery on a narrow lane that looks (and smells!) less than salubrious. It is quite safe and well worth a visit. There are regular exhibitions that change every week or two so there is something new every time you go.

Centrespace is an exhibition venue I've visit on a regular basis over the years on my own and with Artists First the group I coordinate. Its exhibition programme is always interesting and the space lends itself to creative as well as conventional hanging. The work they show there covers all mediums, themes and disciplines.Exhibitions are usually invigilulated by the artists which is a real bonus. It's well lit and as they have a portable ramp it's accessible to wheelchair users.Centrespace is very important part of Bristol's artistic community and culture and long may it remain so.

The alley is not scary once you are inside and it comes out both sides
