The Quaker Meeting House

Good place for a small conference or meeting: good facilities, easy to find central location and wonderful views from the top room.

Great for budget conferences. Not for shining business presentations. Fast Network.

a coffee and a cake before the show just what the doctor ordered but not a very big coffee area but very nice and the staff were quick and very smilie

Nice place just a bit cold. Also you need to be aware of recycling I was compelled to pick out my rubbish from the bin. The recycling bin was in a cupboard. That didn’t help.

I found the receptionists on a few occasion to be really petty minded jobsworth. I regularly attend a few groups here and they(staff) are obviously aware of which rooms are disengaged for which as that is apparent when they start singling me out. I was on my way to one of these and the women on reception chased me down and demanded to know what I was doing there when it was quit obvious as I was making my way in the to designated room for the appointed event.Its happened twice like that non of the white patrons or visitors (in my observation) get dived on like that. The staff are probably engaging in some sort of provincial version of racial profiling. Surprising they make some feel unwelcome considering the building. Surprisingly all of the staff I've encountered on the reception are English and this is Scotland.

Interesting visit as part of Doors Open Day. One of those places you often walk past but never think what is in it.

Beautifully situated on terrace above Victoria Street. Mix of meeting rooms to hire at reasonable cost. No parking but near most bus routes.

Bit of a hike up the stairs but there is a lift. Friendly staff
