What a disgrace this adult services on offer.I have begged them to help me but they refuse.

I can only describe adult sevices, sunderland as one of the worst in customer services that I have had to deal with.Not only do they fail to communicate effectively, as a carer with power of attorneyjointly on the financial side, to date no amendment to the carer's assessment has taken place to my satisfaction. To date my elderly mother is in a care home and wishes to come back to sheltered housing. I have one week left before my carers' allowance runs out. After 8 years of caring having had to give up a career, possibly my pension and also may now lose my flat. I am extremely bitter and as I have a legal background, have been in touch with a QC I know, the local press and ombudsman.I have formally complained and have been in touch with the local press etc. I will now only deal with social sevices legally.
