I would definitely recommend Alfreton Electrics , they were fantastic. They installed our new infra-red heaters for us along with a new fuse board and solar i boost. They were incredibly helpful, had great ideas when we were planning what we wanted and gave lots of great advice. They always arrived promptly, worked incredibly hard and consulted us throughout. They had a high standard of work at all times and worked considerately around me working at home. We are more than happy with their work and cannot thank them enough. We would definitely recommend and won't hesitate to contact them for work in the future.

We've recently moved to a south east facing bungalow and opted for solar due to the location and position. Initially, finding a supplier / fitter was a bit of a trial but we discovered Alfreton Electrics via Trust A Trader and never looked back. Jez, the owner inspired confidence from first meeting and we stopped looking for anyone else. It turned out to be one of the most straightforward pieces of work we've ever had done. Everything went perfectly well and we are delighted with the system Jez recommended to us - 11 panels, a LuxpowerTek inverter, with a separate battery, and a Solar I-Boost to heat the hot water.After a couple of months, the system is performing way above our expectations and we are generating around 95% of the electricity we use. There are also considerable savings on gas as the solar heats the hot water.I can't recommend this company highly enough. It's basically a father and son team (Jez and Isaac) and they work superbly well together. Their customer care is excellent and in addition to being highly skilled craftsmen they are a pleasure to know.We've already decided to have a second battery to maximise autumn / winter solar output and Jez and Isaac will be coming to fit it soon. Overall, going for solar is one of the best decisions we've made and many thanks to Alfreton Electrics for making it happen.

We recently had Alfreton Electrics to replace an old fuse box with a new consumer unit in our house and to upgrade an electrical installation in the garage complete with outdoor security lighting. Jez and his son Isaac were excellent workers. The price for the job was good and the quality of work excellent. We had a whole new solar and battery set up designed and installed.We could not recommend Jez and Issac more highly, firstly there is no sales pitch Jez comes round and lets you know the price there is none of the continuous ‘courtesy calls’ you get from the big national companies. Then the installation process is painless. Jez takes care of everything, on ours he even cleaned the moss off the roof whilst he was up there!. Issac set up the wireless connections and app for me so even that bit was easy. If you want solar these are the guys to go to.

Had these clowns booked in to fit a kitchen extractor today. When it was booked I we said it will need to be drilled through the wall, I was quoted a price and waited in all day. As they didn’t turn up I called them to be told it’s on hold because they decided they need to do a site survey at the cost of another £80+vat. Absolute joke. What a waste of a day and I could have had it booked in with someone else. Now we have to wait until after Easter and start ringing around again.

Had a new inverter fitted for our solar panels. Jez came quickly to assess the job and fitted the inverter at the beginning of the following week.He (and his son) were very polite, efficient and took the time to answer any questions we had.Good value for a job well done.
