Just popped in for a sandwich, not much of a selection available when I went and was a mess in the fridge the store generally looks nice and tidy. I did go to self serve rather than the desk with someone on as he was struggling with something at the desk and there was a que. (I needed to be in and out pretty quick)

The quality of food in this store is completely substandard. The veg is always rotting and mouldy. Astonished that they actually think it's acceptable they can charge consumers for such a state. I've noticed the quality going down hill more and more over the last year or two and yesterday I finally vowed never to return to Sainsburys St Johns.

Definitely a decline in the amount of products been stocked. Own brand and budget brands slimmed down. i.e. Sainsbury own brand milk powder disappeared from the shelves months ago. Now, only one expensive brand is available.Only one till in service is a definite push to get you to use self-service tills. When that happens, I will just leave the shopping there..
