Pet sitting nearby in Laughton and stopped in for coffee and a sweet.Pleasant shop, friendly staff, very comfortable outdoor patio for sitting.And they make iced coffee drinks. Not a big selection of cakes, but it was good.

Lovely place to drop in for a coffee, sandwich, cake, snack. It's a volunteer-staffed community shop and cafe with a warm welcoming vibe. Popular with walkers and cyclists, judging by my visit. Not many tables inside but providing the weather is OK, it's great outside with a little terrace and extra seating.

Chiddingly Village Shop and Cafe
This is a volunteer run shop that also does sandwiches and hot and cold drinks. Their toasties are excellent. Very friendly. Popular. Well worth supporting. Next door is an exhibition space and interesting gardens. Check opening times and exhibitions listed.
