It was extremely dirty and very very tired looking inside. The toilets were filthy, and felt like needing a good scrub after using the bathroom. They were clearly understaffed as the wait at the bar seemed like a lifetime...In the whole, one of the tackiest, dirty pubs I've visited.Avoid going there at all costs unless you have very low hygiene and standards

Worst Wetherspoon we've been in. Will not return. Saturday lunchtime out of stock on do much, nearly gave them their drinks back and left. Bar staff/ servers friendly and competent, managers didn't seem to care.

It is what it is but great value for money as had a full breakfast for £3.14 and a pint for £.2.30 before a day at the races

Katrina is a very hard working member of staff.Ordered the vegetarian breakfast, took a while to order and an age to be served. Food was good, but due to the length of time couldn't finish it.In fairness, I've never known so many eating at a 'Spoons. Not the largest Spoons, but not too bad. Some local history info on the walls.Toilets need some attention!

Incredibly cheap food in fairly good quantity as well as drinks or deals including drinks. Conveniently order via app, indoor and outdoor seating, generally very chilled atmosphere with super friendly staff. Food was delicious also. My main concern are toilets or their quite bad situation to be precise (not sure if unlucky during my visit, still should be looked into more), otherwise would be more eager to recommend.

A bit course, thanks to a fair bit of loud and excessive swearing from some afternoon drinkers, but the pub was still good. It was clean and comfortable. Staff have tried hard to make this pub welcoming and visually attractive, lots of flowers and plants, nice patio and outside area at the back. Yes agree with other reviews, it was a bit raw... but at least it felt like a proper pub! Nice staff.

Great place to eat. Order from app and drinks come quick and so does the food. We enjoy coming here. I recommend this place

Wonderful little spoons over three levels going back to a beer garden near the car park. The place was fairly busy when I was there and there didn't seem to be that many staff as they were constantly running around clearing, cleaning and serving, only to start all over again. They were pretty relaxed and cheerful- again with the smiling. Unfortunately they were out of Guinness, but the Gwynt Y Ddraig Black Dragon was an excellent replacement.

Down here for 2 nights with work. Had the steak. Definitely good for the price. Lad behind the bar was really good. Ate my meal then went to the bar for another pint. Back to my table where id left a third of a glass of Stella and it had been cleared. Spoke to the blond lady in the golden rimmed glasses who just said 'Well there wasn't much left' and walked away! Really? So am i coming back tomorrow? Erm no. Lots of other pubs around here!
