Doug was ready to greet us as soon as we arrived to view the car of interest. We got straight into talking about what the car's history was and felt he was very honest and genuine in his responses. He really takes care of the cars he sells and regularly takes them for a trip to keep them running nicely - he'd done this just before we test drove the car we were looking at. Purchased a vw golf gti with heated leather seats about 3 years ago, recently sold it a few months ago.When I first purchased it I thought I got a good solid car, took it for a MOT, had a list of problems from turbo not injecting to the constant engine caution light, after spending 3k on it, I wouldn't recommend this car sales.

Doug at Harpenden Cars was excellent. I arranged to view a car and by the time I arrive the car was ready. It was well presented and Doug was very knowledgeable. He also pointed out some minor flaws and was honest fair with our negotiation. I have had the car just under a week and am very happy with my choice of car and garage. Other garages were not interested in me or my needs, they just wanted to push a sale. I will definitely buy again from Harpenden Cars. Thanks Doug.

Doug was very welcoming and let us look around the car for as long as we needed. There was no pressure. Everything was explained about about the car and its history and we were very happy to purchase. The nice thing was that it was for our granddaughter and Doug made sure that he talked to her and not us. He pointed out that a light lense had a crack in it and said if it was more convenient he would order a new one and send it to us to fit. This has been done. Overall a great experience.
