Emma provides a superb quality and value for money service from start to finish. She has wonderful vision and intuition as to what her clients want. She completely understood our brief and produced a variety of plans with design and planting options which we could tailor to our budget. She project managed the works brilliantly and personally oversaw the planting. Emma ensured the whole process ran smoothly and was always available to discuss things. We are absolutely delighted with our new garden.

Thank goodness for Emma. She was my saviour after a stress free extension!! 4 garden designers / landscape gardeners let me down at various stages . I was given Emma number and she replied and stepped up to half a job done . Emma worked alongside a hard landscaper who was brilliant but didn’t do design or planting. I knew what I didn’t like in plant wise and Emma was very patient and knowledgeable . The end result was my perfect garden that I could have only ever dreamed of . I could not recommend Emma enough . Thank you Emma and see you in the autumn !

We’ve loved every moment of working with Emma, who has been so helpful, positive and patient as we’ve worked our way from not knowing how to get started, through to an amazing space for us to enjoy year-round with friends and family. We love our new gardens, front and back, and are so pleased with the impact they have had on our lives.If you’re not used to buying creative services, it could feel overwhelming engaging with a garden designer, but Emma is so friendly, practical and pragmatic, you never feel out of your depth or swept along. We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Muddy Boots and our beautiful finished garden. Emma is a joy to work with - very normal and nice! She also knows her onions (among others). Emma listened attentively to our long wish list for our new garden and guided us sensitively towards what would work best in our particular setting. We are most definitely not gardeners ourselves so Emma’s knowledge and expertise were invaluable. We now have the garden we dreamt of - serene, secluded, fragrant, wildlife-friendly with year-round interest. We love it! Highly recommended.

We highly recommend Emma, Muddy Boots. Emma did a great job for us from first discussing ideas to full completion - and we are very happy with the results. In designing the garden, she paid attention to our interests and requirements, made suggestions for improvements and presented us with a design that reflected our desires. She managed the project for us with landscapers and she was very hand-on herself. Importantly, she kept to the budget and always discussed with us before incurring an expense. In addition, Emma is a pleasure to work with, straightforward, practical and diligent. We would definitely work with Emma again!

We are very pleased with Emma’s garden design. The design makes very good use of the compact space and fits in well with the surrounding area. We specified low maintenance and Emma recommended minimalist Oriental style. The use of curved paving stones leading to a wall seat is very imaginative and the planting has matured really well. It adapts equally to alfresco family parties and a quiet drink in the evening sun for two of us. It fits in with our tastes and lifestyle and requires little effort.

Emma helped us to transform our garden from boring to beautiful. She patiently worked with us to come up with a design that worked well for us as adults and our 3 young children.As well as designing the garden Emma purchased and planted all of the plants to make the most of the new space that we have.Emma was very responsive the whole way through the project (which included dealing with lock down) and was a pleasure to work with.We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Muddy Boots.

Emma was a real pleasure to work with on our garden redesign. We are not at all green fingered and Emma was able to provide the vision for our area that has completely transformed our outdoor living space. Emma is extremely patient and listened to what was important to us, ensuring that was a key part of the design. We hope to keep working with Emma as we make other changes and would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone else.
