Sam Shaw and the Ashley James Group have changed my outdated view on recruiters after a number of bad experiences in the past, with other recruiters the industry. I was sceptical, but what I found with Sam was a service that put me first, cared about professional preparation and importantly matched roles strictly suited to my skill set.I highly recommend Sam, for his professionalism, hard work and rare honesty in his personable approach. I was approached by Sam Shaw, one of the consultants at Ashley James two weeks ago. He’s saw I was open to work on LinkedIn and after a discovery call Sam knew what I was looking for and had the perfect role on a project he’d been working on. He set up the first meeting within a couple of days, gave me everything I needed to know about the company and person I was speaking with. Once I had spoken to the hiring manager I knew this role was for me and Sam was right about it being perfect. Had a second stage a few days later and a job offer the next day which Sam oversaw. Great agency to deal with. I was personally appointed with Sam, and he didn’t waste any of my time with vacancies that weren’t of interest to me or suited to my skills. The turnaround was brilliant too, after our initial conversation I was placed into an assessment day 4 days later. Brilliant agency overall, but props to Sam for checking in with me and preparing me for the interview which led to an offer of employment. Would definitely recommend.
