Larch Green Lodges

Stayed 18th to 20th June 2022 - had originally planned for August 2021 but had to reschedule because of COVID. Stayed at Fox Lodge - which can sleep 4. Has ramp access for front door and two ensuites - one of which is accessible. Were welcomed with bottle of wine and selection of biscuits. Kitchen has fridge , dishwasher , washing machine , microwave oven , oven , hob, toaster and kettle. All appliances are well maintained and spotlessly clean - like the rest of the lodge. Bedrooms are furnished with super king beds (very comfy) , bedside table with lamp and alarm clock ample storage space. Each bedroom has a sliding door where you can access a private deck and take in the stunning views. Three flat screen smart TVs throughout lodge , WiFi access (logon details on wall). TVs can access Netflix, Amazon, Disney+ and NOW TV if you have subscriptions. Hot tub, Fire pit and BBQ outside - and also a wood burner inside with kindling, wood etc. Tea, coffee and sugar provided along with plates, bowls, cutlery and mugs. Just a wee suggestion - at time of booking would be nice if you could order items for Fridge - ie milk, butter bread and then add item prices to overall price. Did this in a hotel in Las Vegas but never seen it offered in UK. This has been our favourite place to stay anywhere in the world - so relaxing and only 10 miles from home - and we have stayed in 5 star hotels in UK and USA - Will be returning next year for sure - thanks to everyone at Larch GreenRaymond & SharonGreenock, Scotland

My family and I just returned from Scotland and we stayed at Larch Green Lodges. WOW....the view and the place was absolutely magnificent. The communication with Laura was great. She put our mind at ease during the whole booking, check in and check out process and always responsive. I highly recommend this place.Michael

This was our second time visiting Fox Lodge and it was absolutely perfect. The lodge is very comfortable and the views are stunning. Really easy to get to, comfy beds and well stocked kitchen. We will definitely be returning!

Stayed for 2 nights in Fox Lodge. What an amazing place with fantastic views. Loved the log burner, comfy beds, views from every window. Nice welcome bottle of wine and nibbles on arrival. Outside there’s a fire pit, numerous seating areas. Had breakfast outside after witnessing a beautiful sunrise to match the sunset from the night before. A hot tub has prime position to capture the views. We were lucky enough to have clear skies and saw a shooting star from the hot tub. Will hopefully return again and definitely recommend this to others. We found this gem after watching the channel 4 programme Four in a Bed.

A beautiful lodge in an elevated position with wonderful views over the Clyde estuary. Very comfortable bed plus a well stocked open plan kitchen.Hot tub was blissfully hot on a very cold evening.

Amazing weekend. Super relaxing and the views from the Buzzard Lodge was incredible. So much to see and do around the area as well with a trip to Loch Lomand only about 30 minutes away is a must see while there. Will definitely be booking again and already have so many friends asking about where we took the photos.

We stayed here for two nights 23rd and 24th of march at the phesant Lodge for my birthday.Beautiful cabins located at height , a view of the whole river clyde , amazing interior , spotlessly clean with a fully loaded fitted kitchen . which was good as I had my young son with us , so could make him him dinner and snacks , , and very well furnished a mix of modern and traditional furnishings gives these brand new cabins a touch of character,ouside is a spacious patio with multiple seating areas with fantastic views of the clyde. Theres a family size hot tub that was heated before our arrival , there a barbecue on the patio outside , log burning stove inside gives the cabin a really cosy feeling at night , I would highly recommend these cabins to anyone visiting for a couple of days. remote enough at night that you feel as if your in the middle of nowhere, but your 25 mins from glasgow, and 15 mins away from greenock.really amazing place, the owners made us feel at home , and that sometimes makes the difference , there was a bottle of wine some nice scottish biscuits and crisps waiting on us also , which I thought was a really nice touch . Thanks again for having us , and we will definitely be back . 5 stars all day long

These lodges are absolutely amazing. 4 nights was not long enough, absolutely amazing. We stayed in the Fox Lodge. Everything is so thought out I cannot recommend enough. Arrived to a hamper which was a lovely surprise, and ordered the breakfast which was delivered by Shona and was fantastic. The binoculars and notebook to note the wildlife was a lovely touch as well.The bedrooms were so spacious, one was suitable for a wheelchair which whilst we didn’t need was a lovely feature to see. Was accessible for all which is brilliant. The views from each bedroom are brilliant, and the fact that each room has a view is just another lovely touch that many places would not offer.The outdoors is amazing as well, the hot tub is fantastic and has a light for night time use. Shona did hot tub checks every day which we appreciated! Never known it before. Sadly we didn’t get to use the bbq or the fire pit but I can only imagine they are great. They also offer disposable bbqs, just another little thing that not many would think of, but makes this place even greater.Finally, the views. Incredible. No other words really. When we were there, there were horses in the field which were fantastic to watch in morning, there was a young horse who seemed quite giddy and got all the other horses galloping which was so fun to watch.Here you are far enough away from people to feel isolated, but close enough to not feel completely out of it. 10 mins away from Port Glasgow and supermarkets and 5 mins away from Langbank station to get to Glasgow and elsewhere. 30 mins away from Loch Lomond and The Trossachs too.Would highly recommend and will hopefully get to return soon. Amazing spot. Shona and John have built the most tranquil accommodation. Everything you could want in the super cozy Buzzard Lodge.If you want to meet or walk with the alpacas, Tuesdays and Wednesdays are their days off.
