El Tomate Latino
I went here for dinner one Sunday evening for a mate's birthday after our preferred restaurant was closed. Two of my friends randomly spotted it by chance on a wander and said the atmosphere looked good and food too, so we ended up having a big but lovely meal here! The restaurant does Dominican food, but also cater for all your Mexican needs too.I went for the Dominican menú as was keen to try something new and different. To start, I shared a mixed meat platter with plantain for £15 (£7.50 each). The chicharrones were to die for, the meat was moist and tender and the fatty bit soft, then going into the lovely salty and crunchy skin! The fried chicken had a lovely battered coating and so moist and juicy...boom!The last element was beef, which turned out to be an organ. I mentioned pancreas to the waitress, which she said yes to...but I think it might of been lung or something? Either I enjoyed that too! The plantain was also very good, crispy on the outside, and soft and sweet on the inside...this also came with a side salad...a lovely starter but very filling! Then my main arrived! La Bandera...with beef! It was a massive dish for about £12 I think I paid. The beans in the sauce were very tasty, and had a nice twang to them, there was a ton of rice which I didn't think I would finish, but the along with the beans the beef stew has a lot of tasty sauce, some herbs and spices all in there and the lovely tender big chunks of beef were simply divine! I don't know how I managed to eat it all!So, if you want a ton of food and a decent price, then defo give this place a go! Friendly service and Latino atmosphere. 5 stars deserved.

El Tomate Latino
We went with a group of friends for a birthday and I have to say the service, the food, the atmosphere - everything was amazing. They really looked after our group and we had the best night. The DJ played bachata, salsa, merengue, reggaeton, dembow ... We will be back!

El Tomate Latino
Atendimento rápido, pratos com proporções boas, com qualidade e bem temperados. Preços acessíveis. Um pouco barulhento, mas a música era muito boa.
