National Windscreens Oxford

I had a booking for 8h30, was told my car would be ready at 11h00. I arrived back at 11h15 only to find that they hadn’t even started working on my car. My car was only ready at 12h30.

Beware of their timings… been waiting over a month for them to fit my windscreen and still not sorted. Was already en route to have the replacement sorted to then be told the windscreen hasn’t arrived 15 mins before the appointment (even though they said it was on an over night delivery?!) still no windscreen, had to book a day off work, will now have to book another day off work. When? Who knows… they still can’t give me a date… all a bit suspicious and sounds like it was never ordered in the first place. They must have known the day before the windscreen wasn’t on the way?Safety doesn’t seem to be of their concern… happy for me to drive around with a massive crack in the windscreen for over a month.Communication is utterly poor.Although Alan on the phone today, very nice guy… felt bad for him that he couldn’t give me any straight answers…

Brilliant service, only a 4 day wait from getting my car booked in for a windscreen replacement, fast and friendly service from the fitters too! Simply cannot fault! Would certainly use again and recommend

Cancelled appointment with no warning, didn’t pick up the phone and then said it would take 2 weeks. Terrible customer service.

A shoddy and incompetent company that I was pointed to by my insurer. Took so long to come to initial report of a chip that could be repaired that it turned into a crack that needed replacing. Then made multiple appointments promising me over a long series of phone calls would be for a replacement, but none of them were.Finally after over a month of being messed around they finally turned up with a replacement screen - but didn't re-connect the things they disconnected whilst fitting it - found out I had no windscreen washer ability on the road.Their complaints process then told me I had reported it wrongly, and denied anything was wrong, whilst not addressing half of the complaint.Will never use again and would recommend others to avoid the 7 rings of hell that is dealing with them.

Replacement windscreen booked in nearly 2 weeks ago, told I would be given a time slot on the day but wasnt, sat around all day, rang to chase at 4pm and told they didnt have the glass!!!!!

Fitted my BMW I3 windscreen in a couple of hours. Very friendly, great experience.

Absolutely fantastic was booked in for 12:30 ... Had some spare time.. Dropped off at 10:30.. windscreen fitted and calibrated within one hour.. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff..5*service

Worst customer service experience I've ever had. No communication whatsoever from the Oxford branch. If you ring them, it goes straight to the call centre, and you can easily lose an hour waiting to get through. They give you an appointment day but only give you a time the day before. This is very short notice and would not work for most people. The only time that you get any communication from them is if you put in a customer complaint and the branch manager will be involved then. The technician, Dave, doing my replacement, called me direct. He was very polite and helpful and did a very good job and quick. Tracey on reception was also polite and helpful. So basically, get the branch manager involved, and you will be okay.
