Bought a car December 2018, I was assured I would be getting the missing badge for the back of it was told it would be sent out in the post within a week. Unsurprisingly it hadn’t arrived I messaged Martin and got no reply and called him no reply. Until I phoned him off a friends phone and he answered and said it was sent. Wouldn’t recommend do not care once you have paid. Even going as far as ignoring your texts and calls.

Terrible experience we had with Jubilee Garage! Martin seems a great guy at the beginning but i guess that's part of what he learned in his so 27 years of experience" to attract people! We have bought a Vw Touran - £3844 for missus as she is pregnant and already have a kid so we needed a bigger family car. Martin kept the car for 1 week to do the MOT and change a wheel bearing at the beginning and on the day we took the car the turbo failed on the motorway putting missus and the kid at risk! he took the car back to fix the turbo. He left a pregnant woman without a car for 2 weeks and kept lying to us the car will be ready asap. He refused to tell us in which garage the work is carried out and refused to refund us when we asked for our money back! We had to contact Autotrader and the Trading Standards to get a refund from him. HE POSTED THE CAR FOR SALE AGAIN on the same website

Bought Kia Picanto from Jubilee two weeks ago, very pleasant experience. Martin was attentive without being pushy. Very pleased with car and happy with the trade in for our old car. The Kia has a couple of small faults, the mechanic was in touch with us immediately we reported them, and has advised parts are on order and will contact us when received, Would recommend this company for their friendly service.

lying in buúinessI would advise anyone to look elsewhere when buying a car; you will save yourself a lot of stress and hassle.Id give it 0 stars if I had the option, bunch of con artists not describing things well and trying to scam you of your money.

I purchased a car from Martin at Jubilee Garage in December 2019. When I first viewed the car, the driver-side door handle was broken, but Martin assured me he would have this fixed before I collected the car. He also told me that the oil would be changed. In short, I believe the oil had not been changed, and the door handle was not fixed (and still is not). Martin repeatedly lied to me about why he could not fix the door handle, blamed other people and never fulfilled his agreement to fix the door handle. I would strongly discourage anyone from purchasing a car from Jubilee garage because of Martin’s complete dishonesty. It sounds like another user (“A B”) on here has had a similar experience. Please read on for more details…When I collected the car, the door handle did not feel right, but it did open the door. Over the next couple of weeks, the handle got worse and it became increasingly difficult to open the door. I contacted Martin about this and he advised me to spray some WD-40 on it and see if this fixed it. It did not.Around 3 weeks after collecting the car, the engine warning light came on. I checked the oil level and discovered that it was well below the minimum, indicating that the oil had probably not been changed. I informed Martin about my concerns: if the oil had been changed 3 weeks before but the level was now below the minimum, there might be a serious fault with the engine. He initially told me not to worry, which did not satisfy me. Eventually, he agreed to have the oil changed, but it still took weeks for the oil to actually be changed: the mechanic that was meant to be doing it was extremely hard to get hold of and cancelled on the day of the first date Martin gave me.The door handle saga continued for the next 3 months. Martin gave me the number of the mechanic that he used, named Dan. Despite apparently having the new parts for the door handle, Dan continually cancelled on me when he was meant to be fixing the handle. I also spoke to Martin on numerous occasions, who repeatedly furnished me with seemingly bogus excuses as to why the handle could not be fixed. Eventually, Martin organised another Mechanic, Simon, to do this work. However, the morning before it was due to be fixed, Martin told me that Simon had to go to a funeral that day. I actually proved that this was a lie, as I spoke to Simon later that day and he was not at a funeral. To summarise, Martin has repeatedly lied to me, wasted my time, and never fixed the car I bought from him. I would therefore strongly discourage anyone from purchasing a car from Jubilee garage.

So, I bought a car that looked good from Martin in October. On the phone he said service history would be included - which justified the value of the car and the price I paid.I was then told after buying the car, he would send me the service history.6 months later - still no service history after trying to retrieve it from him constantly and being replied to with excuses, and now he is not replying to me altogether.I would advise anyone to look elsewhere when buying a car; you will save yourself a lot of stress and hassle.

Bought a Mini Cooper recently. The car was as described so my journey was not a wasted one. Martin was friendly & I was under no pressure. He let me take a test drive as long as I wanted. The car was competitively priced & I agreed to buy it but wanted a new MOT & a minor repair doing. This was done quickly & the Mini was delivered to my door as agreed. A pleasant experience & I would recommend this garage. I'm very happy with my Mini. Thanks Martin....

Well it’s 12 months now since I purchased the Grey Fiat 500s WT63 ACJ for £4650 from this guy! Found it to be accident damaged when I went to get an A-frame fitted, front near side structure was all crushed the bumper had been repaired and put back on. The car was sold without any mention of this damage. He had the car back after 2 weeks and I am still waiting full payment. After months of pushing and pursuing he thought it clever to pay some back by instalments from November to February. After listening to his lies and excuses I’ve taken it to the Small Claims and he’s even had the nerve to defend himself in someone else’s name. He had the car advertised for sale again 2 weeks later!! This tells you what kind of garage and bloke you are dealing with here. So my advice is stay away from this garage, I just wish I had done. I wouldn’t recommend him to my worst enemy!!!

Brought a car for my son back in December. Initially seemed nice car. Unfortunately the car has had one problem after another. First the stereo wasn’t working. Eventually managed to get radio working but Bluetooth didn’t work so had to get a new stereo fitted. Fan belt went within 5 weeks replaced that. Due to my son working away he’s still learning to drive so still not done many miles since buying the car. Took for a service after only 500 miles, which it needed new brakes, new tyre and some part replaced on back wheel costing £700. Final straw today for poor review was took son out for driving lesson today. Steering went stiff lots of warning lights came on and car lost power. Had to call rac out and be towed to garage. Alternator and fan belt snapped again. So currently car left outside local garage awaiting replacement parts.Really disappointed all these things gone wrong even before my lad has passed his test.
