Samsic UK Head Office

Went for an interview and nobody turned up. No correspondence to my messages but they where all read when I sent them. Nobody has messaged or rang apologising. Absolutely disgusting behaviour from a company. Do not apply for any job with this place. You will be left an hour waiting when you have made arrangements to have the interview around other commitments!

Edit 7/12/2023 manager hasn't responded to emails in over 3 weeks ,ring office goes to voice mail, ring HR goes to voice mail,have now rang HR 3 times nothing happened, do your staff answer phones or emails? Disgusting way to treat staff no contactable people what so ever .been working for them I've only seen my manager once that was on my first day,he seems to of left the company leaving me without a work contract, getting him to do anything like book time of took ages, missing wages and the company don't respond to there emails,don't like to say this but yet another awful company who don't care about there staff.i turn up on time for every shift do my work but management is dreadful.theyve commented on my review and by what they have said you can see they haven't read it properly.

I was in Leicester on a night out when I met an employee of samsic called Alister pereira and honestly I think he should get a promotion because he did so much more than he needed to do . Some people got into a fight he stopped it and calmed down the whole situation while also making sure nothing bad happened, I didn’t even know samsic was a thing but after tonight my opinion om samsic is that it must definitely house some really great people .

Terrible people to work for , done a cleaning job in Norwich & got told not to go back but had no explanation for it I worked my backside off & didn’t even get paid for the 5 days I was there!! Stay clear of Peter he’s an awful man & shouldn’t be allowed to manage sites!!

In General a good company to work for but very difficult to get supplies have waited over three months for them to arrive after three emails. You are then blamed for not doing the work correctley. They do not visit on a regular basis to ask if you have any problems. I was even accused of not cleaning the toilet floor correctley after I had been away, I had been complaining about this floor for a long time saying that the chemicals I was given do not do the Job. When I get back this was pointed out to me in a consedending manor by a supervisor who said look how clean it is now. Of course it was because she used a degreaser which I could not get because I was told that i could only use the Chemicals I had. So if Management read this I think you should train your supervisors how to deal with staff when a problem arrises.

Now I have left after 3 years of employment. I can say - employees - do not work for this company. Managers, of which you will have many (I had 8 in 3 years) do not respond to texts, phone calls or emails and often lie when they do. You will struggle to book holidays, if you book them, you may not get paid for them. If you are off sick, they may deduct it from your holiday. Your wages will often be incorrect and with no resolution. They are ignorant, rude and unpleasant and could not care less about you, and if you need help sorting out wages, forget it. Clients - exactly the same applies to you - Samsic, for its size and posh PR, could not care less about you or whether you get the service you have paid for - if you complain, they will ignore you as they ignore the cleaners. The only reason I have not taken this company to tribunal for constructive dismissal (no sick pay when I was sick with certificates, no holiday pay when I was on authorised holiday, ignoring me when I needed materials or support, to book a holiday or day off for medical appointment or to be off sick with flu, and even being abusive to me) is because I could not take any more stress and just wanted done with them. They even ignored me when I repeatedly tried to raise an official grievance. How such a huge multinational can be run so badly at such a fundamental level is a mystery. Good luck to anyone having dealings with this outfit of cowboys.Zero stars but that's not allowed. Three stars to payroll who did actually sort out my wages when I pleaded directly to them for help).

Absolute joke of a company.Went for an interview, without being told I'd be trialed for cleaning. No communication what so ever. Supervisor didn't sort my paper work and I've been waiting 7 weeks for my first payment. NOW I have received a payslip it has my hours on but also they have deducted all my money? Saying I was absent when I quit?Stay away, or start up your own cleaning company. Not worth the hassle.

Great company to work for, family centric and genuinely look after the welfare of all employees.

Had a visit down on Wednesday from Scotland to Head Office. The staff were so welcoming and couldn't have helped me anymore with everything that I needed.
