Adorable Dogs

I would not recommend this business at all I recently took my pup here as we couldn’t get into his usual groomer . 2 hours later (standard time for a groom) I collected him. To say his cut is a mess is an understatement chunks took out all over not one bit of it is even, long bits of hair left in random places and left his legs with fringes on the back looking like they had forgot to even do them. he has cuts from where he’s been nicked all over his belly. I wouldn’t recommend them at all

Excellent service as usual, dog trimmed and washed to perfection. Owners are a lovely couple who enjoy a chat. We have been using this company for quit a long time and will continue for the foreseeable future

I don't normally write negative reviews but in this case I have to warn people before they recieve the same treatment. I have never used a smaller grooming business, usually just went to pets at home but id have preferred to help local businesses, especially when it comes to dogs. While doing my research i found this one, saw good reviews, and saw i had mutual friends that used their service. I checked their website and i liked what it said - 'a good groomer first and foremost is a dog lover where caring for you little buddy comes as second nature, and top priority to us' they claim to be experienced with all breeds and hair types but charge more expensive rates for their service. I thought perfect! I only want to pay the best and receive the best treatment for my baby. When i called i asked if they were busy today, Myra asked what i wanted and i told her nails clipped and a bath as she is short haired so wouldn't take as long as no cut required, myra then asked me what breed she was and i told her she was a small cross Staffy. Myra's response word for word 'sorry we'r not taking on anymore Staffies' her husband went on the advise me by email that they were not judging on breed but that short haired dogs are not worth the business for them and that they didn't offer me another time because they don't want anymore staffies, i have this in writing! Having anxiety this impacted me badly as the tone and attitude I received was terrible. So to avoid anyone else ever experiencing that i wrote a negative review on fb that basically certain breeds will be refused if the company don't see profit in it.... makes me so sad that people working with dogs look at them and decide if they can make the most money out that customer! Now I completely understand a business has the right to refuse a customer... its their business, but they then need to ne prepared for negative reviews and learn from it, but instead a friend of the theirs (craig) started sending me abusive messages which have all been saved and intimidated me to remove my review and referring to me as petulant and stupid for leaving a review like that. He also runs a groomers (doggie style) and I have had ex customers tell me this man was aggressive and intimidating to them face to face, and harrassing email. His words to me 'you bought a staffy good for you, u want it groomed, great! But not in this shop, we run a business not a charity!! He advised that for both these business to be successful they need to focus on profit. So not customer service or reputation? surely its not profitable when word of that speads? I have 3 friends who have used this service and i'll be honest, when talking to 1 yesterday she told me she was surprised as she felt they were good but possibly being due to her havimg a westie (owners choice of breed) an other friend told me the service they got was not great as they gave wrong advice on her dogs weight which was confirmed by a vet. My third friends old dog came out with hair cut different lengths and The resonse she got was it was dogs fault for wriggling? If you are sensitive like myself i would not recommend phoning, there is an arrogance depending on dog breed and you are made to feel belittled. I have saved the emails i got from this company trying to back track the whole 'staffy' comment, but then admitted she isn't welcome because shes a staffy, which contradicts their website, and i have saved the aggressive abuse that their friend sent me for leaving a review. I don't like to leave a bad review, but when im spending my hard earned money on a company i always read reviews, especially the negative as in this case the owner left himself a good review to bump up his numbers on fb. If by reading this someone doesn't get made to feel how i did then i'l be happy. This is nothing personal, i can see positive reviews too, but this is the review based on me as a potential paying customer and how i was treated for asking to use their service.

Both our dogs have been going to adorable dogs, from being puppies they are 6 & 5 years old. Myria is great with the dogs.

Wouldn't go anywhere else. Professional and kind service. Making everybody feel welcome and most of all, both have experience, know what they are doing and out wee pooch loves it there.

Took my dog here today for first time,was very pleased with the grooming done and my dog seemed quite at home with the lady who groomed her,booked another appointment for 3 months time and would recommend to anyone looking for a local grooming service

Been coming to Adorable Dogs for about 10 years now and always have beautifully groomed westies. Would never go anywhere else. Love being able to stay and have a coffee and chat

Myra and her husband were very welcoming and helpful. I have s westie pup and they showed great care and patience when trimming her coat. Appreciated advice on proper brush and comb to use for her coat. I would highly recommend there dog parlour.

Brilliant. Logan always comes out looking cute and smelling lovely. They don't rush the dogs. They are always friendly and helpful 5 stars is not enough. Thank you

Well, I'm a bit stunned. Went in to book an appointment to have my dogs claws clipped. They said they'd rather not, as they are both in their sixties, not fit to lift the dog on to the table, and also that their equipment wasn't up to the task!! I left speechless. So, if you have abig dog, needing anything more than a brush up, DONT COME HERE!!! Unbelievable. Very unprofessional.
