Had a lovely evening at SUGO Italian, both food and wine was lovely, portion sizes were very generous and the place had a great atmosphere. My only slight criticism, despite staff being very friendly, there wasn't much communication between them. For every course 2 members of staff checked on us, which by the main course, after appetisers and starters this got a little irritating, however would still return and recommend.

Really amazing food! You might be put off by the rowdy pub underneath the restaurant (A victim of the pubs success - the beer is perfect!) but don't give up! The food is the best in Worcester by far. Truly authentic and incredibly tasty. I particularly recommend the parmesan baskets! The staff were super friendly and polite. Very quick service as well. Would 100% recommend!

Thoroughly enjoyed my evening here, small restaurant on top of a good pub.The food was really nice, simple, but very well cooked as Italian should be.Service was good.Wine list was very good, the Amerone red was a delight. Will be back.

Visiting Worcester we needed food, and was recommended Sugo by work colleagues. My wife and I were incredibly surprised by how authentic the food is. It's very well presented, incredibly fresh, staff were attentive, and covid safe. I cannot wait to revisit, it was a real highlight! Incredibly impressed.

It's jusy okay. It's situated above a pub - for which you have to walk through to the stairs to Sugo, which we couldn't see explained anywhere outside (I only found this out reading another review!) - which meant it was very noisy, particularly as we were sat right next to the door, that was left open. The setting, food and service were all great but the fact that we couldn't hear each other speak really ruined our experience. It's quite small too, so I'd advise booking with them before going.

Gorgeous authentic spaghetti carbonara and lasagne. Side salads were disappointing and had no dressing.

Food was good. However, we were left very confused why we were never offered the Christmas menu which was financially a lot more sensible than the standard one. If you are running a special menu, why not offer it? Other guests (who came after us) had to ask for it specifically, we just assumed there must have been some confusion... overall, food is good, but it is very expensive for a place that is above a pub. Especially when they choose to only offer you a rather pricey menu for the location/environment. It does imply a rather dodgy business practice, so I don't think we will be coming back.

Came here as a recommendation after it was raved however they didn't explain the layout or that you have to enter a pub first before going upstairs. This place is definitely not wheelchair accessible and any one with a disability or who struggles up stairs this place is not recommended which is a shame as staff and ambience is lovely. The food was delicious. Started off with a smaller portion of pasta for a starter which was delicious. I can't remember the name of the dish but it was White venison with a parmesan sauce and was devine.I then had the Pork Belly from the specials menu (so might not always be available) but that too was amazing. The pork belly was tender and the crackling crisp. The waitress was super pleasant and very helpful with her knowledge. I feel that management let her down though as it seemed to be only her waiting on a full restaurant full of customers.I too would definitely recommend a visit here as the food was just amazing and the ambiance matched it.
