I would highly recommend Jonathan as a Spanish tutor for any level. His English is impeccable, his lessons are engaging and the learning material he uses is very useful.

Jonathan is an excellent teacher. The lessons are interesting and varied and he quickly assesses your level and tailors the lessons to suit. I feel Jonathan is very invested in my progress in Spanish and I would recommend him to anyone.

I’ve been working with Jonathan for over 3 months now and can honestly say he’s a fantastic tutor. I studied Spanish in school but did not continue to consistently practice. I now have a Spanish partner so it’s really important to me that I improve my language skills. Our lessons are a great mix of speaking, reading and grammatical practice. I wanted to ensure I was practicing outside of lessons so I revise translation booklets and Jonathan tests me at the beginning of each lesson. I’m so pleased with how much I’ve progressed over the past 3 months - so much so that I went on a solo trip to Spain for 2 weeks and got by without any issues! I’m by no means fluent (have a long way to go!) but even just regularly practicing has boosted my confidence levels massively.Jonathan is a very kind, polite and patient teacher. He’s always very encouraging which makes a huge difference. I would recommend him to anyone looking to improve or practice their Spanish, regardless of what stage they are at!

Jonathan is a wonderful Spanish teacher and a nice person too. He’s flexible, professional and speaks very clearly (not too fast), which is so important when you’re trying to learn a language. His lessons are interesting and he always tells you what you’ll be doing in the next class, so you have time to prepare. I highly recommend him.

Jonathan has helped me move from a beginner to intermediate user of Spanish and I am confident of eventually becoming advanced under his wing. He is very patient and knowledgeable, and has lots of great resources. He also taught himself English from scratch to a high level, and is still continually studying himself, so understands the trials and tribulations of learning a foreign language. Highly recommended.
