Not a single fault with the service I received. Was brilliant from start to finish. Met Barry who quoted the job up, and because of the size of the job also gave a small discount.On the morning, the team arrived, double checked the work that needed to be done and cracked on. Before they finished up they cleaned up any of the mess they had made, checked in with me if I needed any further adjustments before leaving.Will defo contact them again next time the trees need doing, and recommend to others.

August 2023 Review: Repeat customer. I'm reconfirming my original review. HW came back to trim and shape two large limes in my garden. And once again they did a fantastic job!August 2020 Review: Holy $hit these guys are good. This is a genuine review. I live in hackney and definitely wanted a local company. I got 5 quotes and HW was the best. They submitted planning and scheduled the tree works without any headache whatsoever. They trimmed two huge limes, cut down a giant cherry, trimmed a smaller cherry and an overgrown bay tree. Super professional. Arrived right on time, took all the safety and protection precautions and worked as a really efficient team. In the end they swept up the yard, front/back, pavement and street where the chipper was used. The trees are in better shape (except that 1-cherry, it's firewood now), but the rest are perfect. 6-stars all day every day

Really happy with Barry and the team, who did a job 'pruning' a very large ash tree in our garden to create more light and reduce falling branches. They quoted a good price, and were very efficient and clean (and this was a tricky job where they had to take waste through our hallway). They clearly knew their stuff, and the finished tree looks great. We would definitely recommend them to others.

Barry from Hickson Wardle has been very professional from the beginning. The pruning was difficult and entailed an application at the Hackney Council as it was a listed, and very big, tree. The application was immediately succesful and the job was carried out in time and with great expertise. Barry even granted us a video call to assess all the details about the pruning before proceeding. I most certainly recommend Hickson Wardle Treecare!
