Langstone Cliff Hotel, Devon

Fantastic hotel with a beautiful view, super child friendly with easy access to dawlish warren.Great at adapting to allergies and wonderful service at dinner.So many things to keep you entertained within the grounds such as tennis, table tennis, pools indoor and outdoor both of which have children's pools too for the little ones and an indoor play room as well as two outdoor play areas.Also during the summer holidays they had children's entertainment which even my 1 year old was happy to watch and interact with.We had a wonderful stay and didn't want to leave, I would highly recommend a stay here to anyone even if it's a little local break away!

Good size room with a sea view. Bath very high to get out of for joints that do not flex as they used to! Lovely food. Wine expensive. Beautiful dance floor.

Was gifted an afternoon tea. It was great value. We were lucky enough to be seated in the window so we had a view of Dawlish Warren beach and Exmouth in the back ground. Pre tea we had a walk on Dawlish Warren beach with the dogs. Yes the Langstone permits well behaved dogs.

Absolutely wonderful hotel. All the staff were attentive, accomodating and friendly.Stunning views from the gardens.The hotel has an indoor pool, a playroom, a lounge and a large restaurant. Saturday night they had a disco by KB entertainment and he was spot on. Got the kids involved and was really fun. We also saw Amelia for her party which all the kids enjoyed and she took them outside with a parachute for games.Only a short walk down to Dawlish warren. The path is suitable for pushchairs as well.Very spacious car park.

Our 3rd time visiting Langstone Cliff. It's the perfect location for exploring Dawlish and Dawlish Warren. Only a few minutes walk from the train station, so it makes exploring further afield easy too. Ideal location for families!The rooms are nice, but very dependent on which type you get. The large family room sleeps 4 people, but very little room in-between beds, so feels very cramped. I wouldn't recommend this room if you're a family of 4 with a dog - it's not big enough.However, in the past, we've had the family suite and it's ideal for a weeks stay - with a sofa and space to leave your bags etc without tripping over eachother.The bar service was great and generally good in the restaurant area.We'd visit again, it's a great hotel for the family!

I stayed at the Langstone Cliff Hotel, Devon. Lovely hotel to stay in, my room was lovely, with a balcony and sea view for a little extra. Which was well worth the money. The food was very nice, with different choices and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. I would love make a return visit.

Can't comment on rooms as did not stay over night. Large hotel with many facilities , they can cater for large functions. Call venue to confirm details. View over looks Warren.

Grand hotel in a brilliant location overlooking the sea. You have to wait awhile in the afternoon to be served. Usually only one serving to take orders and do drinks.

Went Here for our silver wedding anniversary called in advance I wanted a nice room ended up in a small room overlooking car park ! Children running about unsupervised! Like a kindergarten ok if you have kids or dogs otherwise stay clear if single or a couple looking to have a quiet break away ! You won't get that @ this hotel seem to cater more for children than the parents who arrive with them entertainment solely for children only we thought hotel maybe would manage to put something on for adults! No issues with food @ least one saving grace I suppose and good location reception staff not helpful either all in all very disappointing break for a special occasion definitely will not be going back to this hotel anytime soon !!!!

We came as a family yesterday for a festive afternoon tea.. well were to begin!! What a let down at the cost of £100 or so with hard bread frozen turkey ham not real turkey 10 tea bag in pot of which was stewed then having to pay extra more tea £3.80, 3 soft drinks at £20 extremely run down room with 80’s tinsel not very festive at all none of the food was prepackaged cake stale.. staff very abrupt service as if they didn’t want to be there, slamming the stand on table, only good thing was having family around the table.. would not come again.. very disappointing
