My experience with this bar has been very good for the most part. The customer service could be a bit better. As i work in the same industry I know bad customer service when I see it.The dj on Friday and Saturday absolutely brilliant music from all decades and just a lovely environment.Just need to work on better customer service and i think they will do better. Also they could do with a better toilet for upstairs as it's a mess. All in all I will give this place a 6/out of 10.

Bar is usually full of nice new faces, bar staff are lovely, always good entertainment, one thing that lets it down the security staff with their attitude towards people, violent and malicious behaviour and hunger to discriminate, don’t find the bar inviting anymore and not worth the night out when you are left to feel low about yourself because of them

The bar is great until the power tripping security guard starts perving on your voluptuous breasts and doesn’t get a chance to have his way with you. He then uses any excuse to get you removed from the building and has a girl clearly to young to get in to the bar screaming in the street at him and then threatens to hit them. Keep your girls safe and avoid this bar. Had 3 drinks and Apparently to drunk to continue when they have slaughtered teenagers all over the place. No wonder they have signs around the place telling everyone your drink gets spiked it’s probably the security trying to bag the underage girls. From a humble girl who just tried to have fun yet security said no because they are ….

This is probably the best of the bars in Birmingham. The music is typical for gay bars but it’s good. The beer is good and reasonably priced, but they do not know how to deal with nightmare customers. P*ssed/drugged up customer comes in, latches onto a couple of guys, drinks their drinks, keeps touching up one of them VERY inappropriately. They were very uncomfortable about it and left. It was very clear from the SECOND she came in that she would be a nuisance. She proceeds to mini-puke in the corner. Told the staff she needs to go but I was ignored. A regular customer asked for blue roll and got her to clean part of it up. He cleaned up the rest of it. Seriously folks. With a doorman on, she shouldn’t have been allowed in in the first place. She drives your customers away. She’s well known apparently. My advice… bar those who drive your customers away.

9/12/23 Hey guys. Apparently, security guys are allowed to bomb into your table and smash your bears and cocktails spilt all over my friend. When I asked the supervisor of the bar if we would be compensated they refused as they were not their staff members… my question is who are you hiring then? And are we really safe then? Not coming back again.

Visited 08/07/23. Really going down hill. Bad experience with the DJ. Nasty, paranoid, chip on shoulder chump of a guy. An absolute nobody. Giving me attitude. All I did was politely request a tune. Which I do every time I go on there and the usual (nice/talented) DJ plays but not this piece of work. Started to argue for no reason then berating me from the mike . . absolute sc&m. People seem to prefer the Village because it’s always packed and I know why. Don’t take your clientele for granted and don’t use this so-called DJ again…. belongs in the gutter/trash.
