The Maypole Inn Yapton
Visited during a long dog walk. Great place for a stop off. Didn't eat so can't comment on food, however they have a cracking selection of beers and I believe that are recommended by Camera. It's a little out of the way down a lane off the main ford rd but worth a detour. Recommended.

Great hidden free house. Owner is a character and a professional. If you expect posh and luxury its not for you. But if your goal is to spend good time having nice pint with friendly locals, i highly recomend.

Yapton's last pub. Out of the way down Maypole Lane. Full of locals usually. A couple of different bars, outside space, good selection of drinks, nice old building. Unpretentious which is nice for a pub these days. Prices are reasonable, not tried the food. They have a couple of little dogs which will always give you a friendly hello.

Another amazing dog friendly pub, that's has a great atmosphere. Good selection of drinks especially Gin and every pint of Guiness was just as nice as the last one. Highly recommended. Plus footie was on big screen TV in one side of the bar so you can keep up with the sports.

Lovely homely pub such friendly staff great choice of ales and gins and vodka the widest range I've seen they hold music events and often have food vans on a sat night so get yourself down there and enjoy xx
