Compared to Popeye’s in the U.S or Spain, the classic chicken sandwich had a minuscule piece of chicken, the bun was barely brioche, the cajun fries were simple fries with a seasoning powder instead of the usual tasty cajun fries. Price of the menu was more than double the same menu in the U.S. So overall the U.K. version of Popeye’s is very hard to recommend.

Really tasty food. I was surprised at how nice it was. A lot better than KFC. Not bad for value on price either. The service is a little slow, or they need more staff?. But om the whole, well worth a visit.

Genuinely don’t understand the reviews?(Photos are from a takeaway)Perhaps they had a slow start, but I’ve had 3 takeaways and 1 eat-in since launch and it’s been consistently great!Price wise, yes it is definitely on the more expensive side but it’s super filling, fresh and tastes delicious!Chicken Sandwich is definitely their thing and the standout dish - I’d even recommend sharing chips or just going without; it’s that filling! Huge, juicy meat that hits the spot for sure. Kind of want it now!Chicken pieces and wings are fairly average, though - nice but nothing standout. Same with the fries. Decent but KFC is better for thisThe US style biscuits are SO GOOD - I’d even swap out chips with these. Like a scone-ish thing is the only way I can describe it. I need it!Service has been quick, polite and no issues. The place has a tonne of seats, is bright and airy - has machines for ordering so the staff can crack on with cooking and serving up.A good addition to Brighton and a treat!

Was good at the start but everything has slipped and corners cut. Burger if I can add a pic was thrown together teaspoon of sauce and overcooked. The wings and filets all now tiny and again not succulent like when opened. Sadly I give it two years then bye bye. Ate twice was amazing but believe the reviews gone downhill fastAlso forgot to add 5 hot wings and ruined someone’s meal as all they wanted.

I am frankly not a big fan of sitting in the chain QSR restaurants. If I am pressed for options when hungry I might order delivery. But I always loved Popeyes chicken when I ate it years back. So I always wished to try it again. Sadly Central London has no Popeyes location. So when we came to Brighton it was purely by surprise we found this place. My wife and I had lunch already but when we saw this we went in immediately ordered the chicken sandwich (eat in) and fried chicken (takeaway back to London). The chicken sandwich definitely lived up to the hype. We both were looking at each other's faces and wondered why the hell we never found something like this from other QSR.The fried chicken that we took back reheated well in the oven at home and tasted so good. I would have bought more if I could.I am looking forward to having a Popeyes location in Central London soon.

Our whole family was excited to try this place .. The location is great .. the service was excellent... We ordered food and within 2 mins the order was served at our table that too The Family Meal which consisted of :2 Spicy chicken sandwich4 pieces tender chicken4 FriesOreo whipzWe were amazed by the service... Alas that excitement didn't lasted long... As we saw the food on the table...we were little apprehensive by the appearance but then too tried it .. be it the chicken in the sandwich, the chicken tender pieces or fries all were double fried and were dark brown in colour.. the taste was not good .. as it was Saturday and due to rush might be they have prepared the items in advance and double fried it again on order ... I have attached the photos for reference.. as the saying goes First impression is the last impression.. they must just upgrade the quality as there is fierce competition... Just opposite to the store there's German Doner Kebab which serves fresh chicken and fries...

A very mixed bag as you couldn’t specifically say which pieces of chicken you wanted and I ended up with dry breast and back pieces, I asked for it to be changed and the said they would but then still made errors. Although the food was good I would not be keen on ordering from them again and the managers didn’t seem to care.Very limited seating probably best for take away.

Rlly good for fast food chicken. Nice dips, excellent crunch to the batter of the chicken and it’s a good spot to watch the world go by on North Street. Food was ready quickly too.

Visited for the first time today and was very happy with the whole experience! We dined in and had the spicy chicken wrap, classic chicken wrap and the classic chicken sandwich between 3 people along with sides and a lotus biscoff milkshake. Prices are reasonable, came down to £21 for 3 people. The chicken was cooked until perfection!! so tender and moist with a very good crunch. Will definitely be coming back, staff are lovely as well.
