Medivet Faygate - Seers Croft Veterinary Surgery

The vet was lovely, we’ve seen her two or three times now and I like being able to see the same one. Emily on reception was also lovely and really helpful too.I’ve been coming to the practice ever since my dog was a puppy and have recommended it to loads of people over the years. But it has gone downhill recently.I’ve been really disappointed since Medivet took over though. The practice is a lot less personal now. Vets don’t seem to stay for very long and you’re no longer open 24 hours. In the event I needed to come in an emergency it would be about a 30 mile trip for me. I’d recommend the practice based on the individual vet and Emily, but otherwise I wouldn’t anymore. If I got another dog I would look to go to another vets, probably closer to home, it’s not worth travelling further for now

I had to return to this practice in the evening on Wednesday. My dog had an access unbeknownst to me, that then burst. I couldn't be more grateful to all the staff that helped Betty. The nurses were so helpful from booking her in to comforting her whilst we were waiting. The vet was very knowledgeable and put me at ease to leave my dog in her care through this surgery. Thank goodness this practice is here, everyone was so friendly and chipper, even during the night! Thank you!

A great vets and Gianluca is brilliant with reptiles. He put us at ease and went above and beyond to get a blood sample from our bearded dragon. Managed to get a same day appointment which is near enough impossible for reptiles and felt that he really cared about our little scaly friend. Would definitely recommend for reptiles.

Although they saw our pup very fast (out of hours) even after refusing to see her as she was registered with another vet which she wasn’t (so much for duty of care) the vet assured us that she didn’t need an X-ray and said just a sprain. Following day we went for a second opinion with X-ray to be told she has a fractured elbow and would need an operation and plates put in. A cost of £4.500 (thanks to some insurance) total bill in excess of 6 grand

Seers Croft have great staff and they always do their best to make a visit a good experience. Sadly, corporate Medivet seem more interested in making a profit at the expense of vulnerable pet owners.

Not too sure what is happening at this vets. It was so good, but since the loss of out of hours and other changes and becoming part of medivet, it seems impossible to get appointments. This is the third time we have had a sick pet, only to be told there are no appointments and to ring back at 8am. Just like trying to get a GP appointment but having to pay for the privilege. Although I think I could get urgent treatment on the NHS.

The vets and the secretarial team at Seers Croft are second to none. We have dealt with a number of vets and admin staff for the care of our two kittens, and they have all been so understanding, competent, and kind. Would highly recommend.

Excellent veterinary practice. Lovely reception staff and Gianluca the vet we have seen on numerous occasions for our rabbits is so knowledgeable and has worked wonders in the past where other vets haven't had the deep understanding and speciality knowledge that he has. His care goes above and beyond expectation and his follow up is hugely appreciated.

Good service and left knowing a thorough check up was carried out on our Parrot. Very friendly staff especially Zowie.Thank you
