Came here for the restaurant. Service wasn't great and felt like staff were hiding from you. Food could have been better for the price. View from the restaurant was great though.

Breathtaking views.No reception at night. So 30 mins+ to check in. TV didn't turn on; no one available to look at it. I was given fresh remote batteries which thankfully sorted the issue.Nice restaurant, good options for breakfast. Quality is nothing special. Staff were ok, but seemed overworked or not interested, so did only what's absolutely necessary, almost never smiled.Window/door in my ground floor room don't tilt so had to risk keeping it open all night or sleep in the heat.Water on premises is slightly brown. They explain it clearly and it's safe to drink. As a chemist I believe them. Still you're drinking and brushing your teeth with slightly brown water!

Drimsynie House Hotel
Had an amazing experience at Drimsynie, the lodge was large, spacious and clean.The downside was the number for reception never answered so didn’t have any WIFI all week and no information pack provided.The water is brown it takes a small while to get used to but this is due to the peat and lack of vegetation.Wonderful place to escape the busy world and it’s dog friendly.

Popped in for a drink in the afternoon!! An what a challenge that was, asked for a glass of Merlot, an the bar staff member started looking in the fridge??? Told him you don’t keep red wine in the fridge?? He started going through bottles of red wine, couldn’t find a glass, eventually found a glass, started to pour the wine in to it!! Was only a dribble in the bottle. Not enough to make a glass, tried to find another bottle of Merlot to top it of, couldn’t find one, disappeared in to the back of the bar, appeared 10 mins later, saying I here was no merlot??? Honestly what should have been a simple job, turned out to be a task and a half, I f you have people working in the bar, you think they’d make sure that they actually know what they are doing??

2 nights b/b to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Would recommend. Staff wonderful and friendly. Breakfast very fulfilling and tasty. Evening dinner was excellent quality and also very delicious. Thank you all for making our anniversary special.

Fantastic remote getaway holiday park. The hotel is bang up to date and a fresh modern space.The landscape is breathtaking and there are lots of outdoor activities for the adventurous.The staff were all very helpful.

Absolutely stunning setting, especially when the Sun shines. The panaramic views from the third floor Restaurant are truly World Class; unfortunately the sane cannot be said of the Service, it is really truly appalling!A Couple of members of Staff tried their best but were woefully let down by their Colleagues. Over one Dinner and two Breakfasts I had to chase up service, be it having my order taken, asking where my food was or drinks order at least four or five times on each occasion which put a real dampener on the experience.The room I had was spacious, modern and very clean and fresh.The grounds of the Hotel and Resort are truly beautiful, especially at this time of year, May, and are a credit to the Gardeners who must do a power of work.Overall Drimsynie is a fantastic Resort which, unfortunately, is drastically let down by the standard of Service in the Restaurant.
