Glebe Farm
Fabulous cafe with indoor or outdoor, undercover seating. Opportunity to feed the animals (£1) and a tractor ride (£1 per person). Lovely short walks to see the animals and a play area to top it off for the kids. The produce in the shop look amazing although we weren't buying on this occasion. Some independent shops to browse also.

We come here throughout the year to feed the animals with the kids and generally it's good/ nice farm. We booked the Christmas train this year so the kids could see santa. It wasn't great, if anything it was quite poor value for money. Santa wasn't great, the train is very small and it's a working farm so unless your wearing the appropriate footwear you will have to buy new trainers on your way home. We won't book the Christmas event again, shame really as I'm not sure if they genuinely tried or it was just an opportunity to cash in on the season.

Firstly it's important to remember that Glebe Farm costs nothing to enter. We visited mid week during the Easter Holidays, so the place was really busy. There was plenty of parking but whilst the road around the carpark was hard standing, some parts were very muddy. Nothing to complain about as it's a working farm, but a consideration in terms of footwear. Our 6 year old loved the animals, there was a good selection of goats, sheep, birds and alpacas to feed and you can purchase food for only £1.There is a nice cafe, farm shop and lots of smaller shops, over all well worth a visit!!

Lovely place all ages. The animals are brilliant for introducing youngsters to the care and welfare required. The bonus is, it’s all free! Highly recommended.

Perfect little place to visit with the kids. They is lovely farm shop with some amazing treats. Also has a great butchers inside. There is an icecream counter and lots of outdoor seating (some undercover)Cafe on site is lovely but a little bit over priced. You also won’t be the most welcomed if you have a pram as they have clearly tired to put as many table in as possible.£1 for animal feed and the kids love feeding them so much. They have sheep, llamas, pigs, goats, donkeys and pony’s to feed as well as ducks walking around and chickens near the play area. The is a lovely little fenced off play area which If you have been and got a coffee you can sit and enjoy while the kids play. This is also 2 minutes from castaway play so highly recommend doing both with the kids.

Free place to visit, just £1.00 for a small bucket to feed the animals. I recommend this farm if you want to spend few hours with your kids.

What's a better way to introduce children to a farm environment than through one that has free entry?Carrots and animal feed are available from the shop for £1 each and you can feed most of the animals here apart from the Shetland pony and pig. There's also highland cattle, alpacas, meerkats, goats and donkeys. More unexpectedly found are meerkats saved from a van.Tractor trailer rides are £1 per person (babies go free with prams and pushchairs welcome aboard) with contactless being accepted.
