I had a 2 night stay in the Nuffield for a knee operation performed by Mr Peter Gallacher in December. Mr Gallacher was informative and extremely kind and completely put my mind at easy. All members of staff were so kind and super efficient. Everything about my stay was amazing. Thank you everyone for looking after me so well.

I booked a virtual appointment with Bupa’s Ines Agyepong and she didn't show up for it. Meanwhile, I can’t get any treatment for anything because some weird doctor at Riverside Medical Practice keeps preventing Bupa from accessing my medical records. Private healthcare is a scam. If this goes on any longer I am going to perform the surgery that I need myself.

Absolute joke of a place.Apart from outdated and uninformative staff this place should be shut !!!Saw Mr Dodenoff who gave his prognosis but after seeing the very skilled and informative physiotherapist they disagreed with his decision to operate !! Took a second opinion and agreed I didn’t need a flipping operation !!!So 3 months later I got another consultant but things got worse as Jayne Field the so called secretary for the new consultant never answers the phone or returns calls, one lazy lazy person and I hope Mr Turner, the head staff or someone with some balls sees this and fires her ! Disgusting people!

I cannot praise the hospital highly enough. I had a consultation period, the operation, 3 nights stay and outpatients appointments. Every member of staff was brilliant. The hospital was immaculately clean, the care was second to none and my operation was a success. Customer service and administration was so easy to access and took the struggle out of health care. I'd thoroughly recommend.

Whenever I have visited I have found this to be a very professional and organised healthcare environment. Waiting rooms are very comfortable and relaxing, and you get seen promptly. I found the staff to be very polite and helpful.

12 months on having seen a GP, 3 consultants and 2 physio’s, I am no better than when I started and my medical insurance has been drained.You have more chance of learning about & curing your medical problems on Google than with Nuffield.

Everything takes forever, outpatients phone lines are frequently unanswered, the answer machine advises that the line is not answered and you cannot leave a message then disconnects!It takes many calls to reach the outpatient booking staff who are super polite and responsive then advise that an appointment will be available in 2-3 weeks. Following the consultation, any treatment is then another 2-3 weeks as it seems most Consultants only work 1 day a week at Nuffield Shrewsbury.My wife has waited at least 2 weeks for an appointment for a CT Scan as it seems the relevant referral staff only work 1 day a week and still we wait!We have been attending for 7 months and the waiting never improves. It appears one medical secretary works for 5 different Consultants, when she is on annual leave what happens?!Frequent attempts at complaint are thwarted by a useless 'Customer Service' that send an automated response saying they usually respond in 2 days but are busier than usual so please be patient. That was 10 days ago and still no response.The whole organisation is a farce.

Recently had a total hip replacement, carried out by Mr Wagner. Every aspect of my experience at this hospital was fantastic . My room was immaculate, food great and every single member of staff was kind and caring . So far, I’ve had good follow up care with a first physio appointment and hope to be “signed off” soon . A wonderful experience, especially considering it was for major surgery .
