Usual Boots setup clean and shelves well stocked Pharmacy very busyOnly selfscaning till at this store NO manned tills

Ironically there is a sign next to the Pharmacy counter in Boots Ty Glas which says it’s ‘quick and easy’. This was not my experience yesterday at 6 pm. With only 3 customers ahead of me it still took 30 minutes to be served and a further 10 minutes for my medication to find its way into a brown paper bag. There were 2 pharmacists staffing the counter so I struggle to understand why the service was so slow. Both staff seemed to flit between the Prescriptions counter and the Medicines counter, with neither of them dedicated to providing service from 1 particular counter. Both staff also seemed to be attempting to serve several customers at a time rather than focusing on getting the job done for 1 customer and moving into the next. I appreciate they have a duty of care and a responsibility to make sure medications are dispensed safely and correctly but for God’s sake get a move on, please. By the time I left the queue had increased to 10 so I felt for the people at the end of the queue who were likely to still be there at closing time.

I had to buy three advent calendars from 'Soap Glory' and I’ve got a massive discount! Was 3 for 2 and triple point on my boots card. This specific shopping I have found a lot of help from the staff and the shop full with good quality merchandise. The calendars are expensive per unit but it’s what I wanted for the special ladies in my life so no complaints.

Boots branch Llanishen, loads of free parking, good shop, lots of room and good selection of products. Unfortunately in what appears to be a cost cutting exercise they have got rid of all their assistants on tills and put in self service tills. This is ok but certainly lacks the one to one customer service that is so important in this fast changing technological world.

Hazel from boots in llanishen was amazing today helping me out to obtain a prescription for my son. She co tasted another boots store on my behalf and ensured the prescription will be waiting for me tomorrow. Excellent Customer Service. Welldone .

Shocking.Placed an prescription with the pharmacy weeks ago.They had to order the medication in....2 days later it arrives, didn't confirm this to me till I chased the following day... But also stated that they didn't store it correctly (needed to be refrigerated) so will have to order another. They advised again they would contact me as soon as they receive it.Its been over 2 weeks since... I have tried to call but they either don't answer their phones or cut me off when I call.Absolutely disgusting service!Will not be using them again..... Still await my medication!

Very poor service standards, always disorganised and can’t find prescriptions and always waiting 30+ mins watching people leave the queue as unable to wait any longer. Repeat prescriptions also not requested from surgery consistently.

Called the pharmacy must be 20 times from opening time for over an hour. They just don’t answer the phone. APALLING!
