Hatfield Farmers' Market
I think now the market has moved it's a lot better than before and all the Market Traders I've spoke to have said their sales have been higher and it's a better location and they are happy. We have some great stalls on the Market now and that's thanks to Alan (Market Inspector) as he's got the new stalls to come and they now stay. I visit the Market every week. I don't know why people moan is it because there's no fakes well we don't want fakes like Bovingdon or Dagenham. Fakes are cheap and a waste of money. If you don't like the Market then simply don't go to the Market and then start sagging it off. If you don't like Hatfield or its Market then I say one thing to you and thats move from Hatfield then if you dislike it so much and stop bitching on Facebook and other social media sites about Hatfield. I was born here and I'm proud to be part of the Local Hatfield community. Happy New Year to everyone and all the best for 2016

Hatfield market is so much better since it was moved ..and on Saturday there is far more stalls available.I would love to see a pet stall as Hatfield has no pet shops near by..also some more sweet stalls also sugar free would be nice. Worth a visit if looking for fresh meat as there is a huge refrigerated Truck mobile butcher there and always worth a look along with all the others. On the first Saturday of the month there is a farmers market more stalls needed to make this even better.Great place to go for a shop.

The market is OK compared to what's up the town in St Albans. Council needs to take some actions to improve or attract new traders.

Sadly this market has dwindled to only a dozen stalls. What remains is excellent with mostly local produce at ok prices. The beef/lamb butcher and the beekeeper stalls are especially recommended. Honey prices are a bargain for this area. This market is held on the first Sat of the month. Easy free parking. The weekly town market is next door and sells usual market stuff.

I'm not sure this is much of a market! Not many stalls and the only one I visit is the grocer where there are some reduced prices towards end of day. Others stalls are not worth bothering with. There was a Seike guy selling some nice looking blinged up faux diamond and chrome dog statues, cases and ornaments but when I asked the prices I walked very quickly. Anyway, he was too busy on his phone and didn't seem bothered to sell anything.

Very limited in stalls and, therefore, appeal. Needs regeneration like the whole of the town centre! Worth a visit if you are in the area but not a special journey.

Town centre market. Usual selection of clothes and veg stalls. Fast Food stalls selling noodles and Caribbean food. Not tried these, but they smell good.

Wonderful fresh fruit at good prices. Freshly caught fish and well priced meat along with all the other market things. Isn't the biggest market but makes for a fun outing.

Fantastic value for money from the fruit and veg stall with a huge selection to the huge meat lorry who does some cracking deals. The stalls from the farmers are fantasyic wiyh a large range of free range meat and organic vegtables.
