I visited two weeks ago for an eye test and a new pair of glasses. The reception area is clean, tidy and well presented. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The selection of glasses available was great, there were lots to choose from. I fully recommend Juul and Payne to anyone who wants stress free eye care with staff who care and are enthusiastic about their work.

Caring Optician who listened in detail to my eye complaint. Lots of advanced kit and thorough investigation. Couldn't have asked for better service. Had visited Specsavers a few weeks before and didn't experience the level of care or expertise around eye health.

I have been regularly attending Juul and Payne for many years now, after they were recommended to me by my doctor when a high-street chain failed to resolve a problem. Each time the welcome and service has been excellent: the staff are patient and thorough and use the most up-to-date equipment. I'm very grateful for the early notice they gave me of incipient glaucoma, and whenever any small attention is needed between regular appointments they are always happy to sort things out immediately. They also have a very wide selection of glasses, but never try to persuade you to buy new frames or lenses, if unnecessary.

I have recently been seen at Juul & Payne to get a pair of scleral lenses fitted. I am a current Advanced Keratoconus paitent and have had extensive experience with RGP lenses.I recently had the pleasure of visiting Juul & Payne Optometrist, and I must say it was an outstanding experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive.The optometrist was thorough and took the time to explain each step of the examination, making me feel comfortable and well-informed about my eye health. The state-of-the-art equipment they used showcased their commitment to providing top-notch care.Overall, Juul & Payne Optometrist exceeded my expectations in terms of service, professionalism, and product quality. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of eye care services. Kudos to the entire team for their exceptional service!

I visited Juul and Payne recently, after some years away, and it was a fantastic experience. The staff were warm, knowledgeable and welcoming. I felt safe and well-cared for from start to finish.The technology that they use for the tests is amazing and unlike anything I have experienced anywhere else - it was vastly superior to the high street chains. It is always a real pleasure doing the eye test with Jan and suddenly seeing with my new prescription felt miraculous!The help I received in choosing glasses after my test was great - patient, honest and thoughtful - detailed consideration was given to my lifestyle and prospective uses to find exactly what would be right for me. Clear options and alternatives were discussed.I would have no hesitation in recommending Juul and Payne.

I attended Juul & Payne opticians for my (second) annual eyesight examination. Jay is very proficient and professional. He makes you feel comfortable and does not even attempt to sell you eyewear that you don’t require. So much so, he was happy to see me for my next eyesight test in 2 years time. I would highly recommend Jay if you want an honest and professional opinion on your eyesight. They appear to have all the modern technological equipment in their newly refurbished opticians.

I was fitted for Ortho-K contact lenses a few months ago by Jay at Juul and Payne. My vision and comfort have improved enormously since I started wearing them, and the service has been great. I very strongly recommend Juul and Payne.
