Fab, lovely bloke and very helpful

We bought a house she from LMH in Toxteth Liverpool that was totally gutted and re-done by Penny Lane Builders in 2016. It was very poor from day one, with an awful paint job, open holes to the drains behind the toilets, cheap tiles, one with a chip that they promised to replace but never did and lots of rubble under counters etc. The list is endless. The boss was dismissive and rude. I have waited for 7 years before posting this review to see how the re-build went. Bad to worse, Im afraid. Everything is sagging, constant leaks, damp, damp damp coming from what appears one coat of cheap paint. We are on ladders constantly bleaching the black mould coming through the wall. A super cheap re-build and any call resulted in no joy, just get in touch with LMH, they would say. Not much help there either. I seriously suggest you stay well away from these rogues. They even borrowed our alley way key and never returned it, then denied they borrowed it (for 10 minutes i was told!). £25 for a new one. Nothing in comparison to the other renovations we carried out at our cost.

These bunch of cowboys and CON ARTISTS, PLB have decided toTake photos of my brothers property's as they where in such a run down state. Its taken 10 months of severe hard work blood sweat and tears to have these both homes turned into superb class properties and these idiots think they can take photos of before and after pics and post them on there website.sending them to other clients pretending this is all there hard work. They did a knock thru , material s didn’t arrive on the day stated did not have the equipment,when started the council inspector would not pass the work very poor, then the plaster work was a joke ,will be getting a proper plasterer to make good , not recommended at all .

UNPROFESSIONAL! My 84 year old mum paid these fellas £500 deposit to carry out work on her kitchen extension. There were 3 of them surrounding her in the back garden spouting out problems they had encountered whilst they had started the plaster work. My mum didnt have a clue what they were talking about and only that she has lovely neighbours who stepped in to stop the fiasco she most probably would have gave them a lot more money. They became aggressive when we asked for a breakdown of the work they were to do and never gave a receipt for the deposit. They plastered an area of about 6ft high and 2ft wide (bad job) and had the cheek to only give her £200 back from her deposit claiming this was for work done and inconvenience. Never received the breakdown or receipts so have no proof whatsoever. Avoid them like the plague. They are not only unprofessional but have low moral standards!

Love this place. Has the friendliest of atmospheres. Absolutly marvelous. Get there for karaoke on a Friday.

These guys fitted my wet room in July. They did a fab job, very professional and tidy. I had no worries about leaving them unattended while I had to run errands and was kept up to date with all goings on during the works. They only took 5 days to finish the contract. Highly recommended A****
