Positive Dog Training Academy

We took our border collie pup to Claire for the puppy life skills course last year and have never looked back! The puppy classes were amazing and gave us the skills and confidence we needed to handle a very excitable pup. Claire has always offered help or additional guidance when we've needed it and we can't wait to join the scent work classes.Our pup also goes to day care twice a week - needless to say, when she's collected she doesn't look back once. Always so excited to go and you can tell, she's had the best time when she gets home. Absolutely brilliant for socialisation.Claire has also had our pup overnight when we've been away - so reassuring to know she's looked after so well!Thanks Claire! x

We used Claire's training classes for our golden retriever puppy. Claire was very welcoming and encouraged me to bring my husband and young daughter too. She included all of us in the training and gave lots of personalised advice relevant to our needs. She was kind and encouraging and never judgemental! Would definitely recommend.

Claire is an excellent dog trainer and her classes are fantastic. Our sprocker joined her puppy classes and she loved them. We learnt lots of techniques and skills that we now use to help build confidence and obedience. We went as a family and found the classes fun and relaxed. Our dog now goes to daycare several days a week and I feel at ease leaving her with Claire as they have built up a great bond. I can’t recommend Claire highly enough.

Claire is great! We attended a couple of her courses with our pup and have continued to seek her advice on a 121 basis thereafter. Her classes are lighthearted and fun, but the content is serious - Claire tailors her guidance to how each dog is reacting in the moment and makes it simple and actionable. She has helped me hugely to get over some hurdles and to accentuate the positives so that I can enjoy my dog to the max!

Have just completed a course of puppy training. The classes were excellent and Claire gives great individual attention to each dog's needs. I learned so much in these classes about dog behaviour that I understand my dog much better now. Will definitely sign up for the next set of classes as my dog loves them.

Claire's so knowledgeable on dog behaviour, puppy classes were perfect for our pup. We noticed such a difference in her behaviour week to week, and Claire helped us to successfully address any behavioural issues we were experiencing. We'll be going to improvers class too!

Thank you Claire, for a fantastic puppy training course!Claire's sessions were great for training our puppy in a positive way, and I have learnt so much about dog behaviour from the sessions too! Claire is warm and welcoming, and the sessions are a perfect balance of working on particular exercises and also getting to discuss each dogs individual needs. They are great fun too which is a bonus.I look forward to joining you for the next course!

We love Claire so much, we learnt so much in the 6 week puppy course and really enjoyed going with our vizsla puppy. Claire has a lovely nature with humans but especially dogs. Our relationship with Claire and Martin has grown very strong and we trust them to take Tanner for doggie care and long stays. We know Tanner is loves going to Claire and is well looked after. We couldn't live without Claire and Martin!

Claire is amazing - we did her puppy class when my cocker was little, and have continued with her daycare twice a week, which my dog loves, and always comes back happy and exhausted. We also do Claire's scentwork classes, which are fantastic - both me and the dog really enjoy them, it works my dog's brain, and really focuses her. It's also something we can do on our own to play and reinforce our bond. I can't recommend her highly enough!
