Riverdale Care Home

As a member of this team, I just want to say how lovely it is here at Riverdale. The reason why I write this review is to praise all the team and the new management team, which has been in the post since November 2021.We can all really feel the positive difference. Last night, we had the most amazing Christmas Party. It was so lovely to see families attending and having fun with their loved ones and the staff. We can say that we are a family!

I have been apart of Riverdale care staff since it opened and I have really enjoyed my time there and working with such lovely staff. Riverdale is such a nice, caring and welcoming home. They have great facilities and a lot of activities for the residents to do and be apart of. I highly recommend this care home.

Excellent modern accommodation to make family members welcome. Can’t praise the staff enough for the way they treat the residents. Nothing is too much for them. They go out of their way to make sure everyone is included in the variety of activities that are arranged on a daily basis for all to enjoy.

I have worked in a lot of different care homes but Riverdale by far is the most stunning, modern and well suited for clients care establishment I ever worked in, with the beautiful view. It is joy to work with friendly and supportive colleagues days and nights. Pleasure to work for this great company.

I'm coming sometimes as a agency nurse at Riverdale. I can say that this place had a massive change in good.The new manager is helpful, kind, supportive. The team moral I can say it's positive and they are all happy.Massive positive impact from Renata 's input. She is a huge support to the home.

Riverdale Care Home is a beautiful, person centred home dedicated to keeping its users happy and looked after. With peaceful scenery and gardens to a relaxing and luxurious spa. Riverdale is a great place to live and work.

A wonderful bright and modern care home which had a welcoming, homely atmosphere, where residents were engaged with team members partaking in arts and crafts activities. A lovely visit to explore the home with a friendly, welcoming and passionate team. The Make a Wish tree granting residents a wish was a heart warming idea.

As Deputy Manager of Riverdale Care Home I have been apart of the wonderful care team since the day we opened. I have had the privilege of meeting so many kind, caring and skilled members of staff who deliver a high standard of person centred care, which comes so naturally to them. We really are one big happy family at our luxury home. The home has a capacity of 32 residents and overlooks beautiful gardens and landscapes, we offer our residents visits to our hair salon, cinema, library and a fine dining room which welcomes friends and family to join in with all the fun at Riverdale. We recognise that catering and nutrition is an integral part of every day living, we have a varied menu that changes from week to week with plenty of choices in which our residents have input on to ensure their preferences are respected. The residents enjoy participating in daily activities whether inside or outside of the home with many organised events to ensure that they are stimulated and live life to the full, there is much fun to be had at Riverdale.

Check out Riverdale's CQC report before considering this care home for your loved one.Safeguarding issues coming out of their ears. Don't be fooled by the nice decor and do your research!I'm an ex-resident's daughter, and not a member of staff. Seems to be quite a few reviews on here made by staff which isn't going to give you an unbiased opinion.

Riverdale care home is beautiful in side and out.With very caring and passionate staff life is so happy and relaxed at Riverdale.When you go into Riverdale you can see such a happy inviorment and the residents are laughing,singing and just look so happy.My grandma stayed at Riverdale for some resbite, and she was cared for so well.I work at Riverdale, and I love getting up and going to work, we really are one big family.
