We booked Darren and Kara back in early 2019 for our September 2020 wedding, which due to Covid ended up being a small legal wedding in 2020 and then our big humanist ceremony in Sept 2021. Darren and Kara did our photography for both, plus our engagement shoot so they have been there with us the whole way through.I cannot recommend them highly enough, they are friendly and a good laugh but always professional. Their photography is exactly what we were after - we didn't want to spend 3 hours doing posed photo after posed photo, and we didn't need our wedding to look like a Vogue editorial, we just wanted an honest record of our day which captured the smiles and the tears, and made the most of our beautiful setting.Darren and Kara absolutely came through, we love our photos, and we have loved working with them. Should we need family photos in the future, they will definitely be the first people we call.

Mark (my husband) and I spent a long time looking for a wedding photographer, as we wanted someone who could capture the essence of our day without endless 'posed' photos. We met various people and didn't connect, but when we saw Darren's photos and met him and Kara, we knew we had found our photographer!They were very professional and organised, but also warm and friendly, so on the day it was very relaxed and they weren't intrusive at all - just adding to the amazing event. We met them beforehand a few times - once to look at their portfolio, once to meet at the venue and once for an engagement shoot (including our dogs). They were willing to tramp out to the muddy bench where Mark proposed, and got some great shots!They were great at giving advice on which group shots were important - both for us to have as mementos and to keep the family happy - and also happy to fit in with us: we had beautiful flowers in church which we wanted capturing.Darren's experience as a sports photographer meant he captured some stunning 'action' shots which are our favourite ones of the whole wedding. We spent a lot of time talking about the 'feel' of the day and that was definitely reflected in the type of photos he took to fit in with what we wanted. As well as the group photos there are loads of us just having a wonderful time with the people we love. Perfect.The 'turn around' time was pretty rapid, compared to some horror stories I have heard about other photographers! Darren sent us a few 'taster' shots soon after the wedding, which was great to send to friends and family, and then we received the album about 8-10 weeks after our wedding. We are the envy of all our friends as the album is exquisite. Not only lovely photos, but the backdrop of each page is a detail from part of the wedding - my dress, the flowers, the cars...really lovely!Overall, cannot recommend highly enough!

We are so glad we chose Darren and Kara for our wedding photographers. We have so many beautiful photos that captured our day and evening perfectly. We didn't feel having the photos taken took time out of our day and have so many natural, happy photos of us and our guests! I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding photographer!!

Absolute fab team, Darren & Kara photographed my wedding and they were amazing, never makes you feel uncomfortable in any picture and a brilliant laugh, they captured every moment, deffo recommend for weddings!!

Darren and Kara did an incredible job of our wedding photos. They captured some lovely moments of our families, as well as the stunning surroundings of Ludlow Castle. They were also so friendly, patient and professional that we felt completely at ease. All our guests commented on how lovely they were and everyone is thrilled to have such beautiful photos of us all together. We had a really small, low-key wedding but have ended up with some truly special photos - thank you so much, we honestly couldn't be happier with them!

We had a fantastic experience with Kara and Darren, can’t thank them enough, they were absolutely brilliant and they’re both just so lovely. We had a had a lovely wedding and the photos they captured are so beautiful.They’re both so easy to talk to and get along with, we had a really good laugh with them. After 2 cancelled weddings we finally got there and we couldn't be any happier and more in love with our photos from Darren and Kara. They are just perfect. Darren and Kara are such a lovely couple and make you feel so at ease. They respond very quickly to all emails and are very helpful and accommodating. We didnt have to wait long for our wedding photos and there was so many. Today we received our photo book and memory stick and they have done such a wonderful job with all the little details. Choosing Darren Musgrove Photography was one of the best decisions we made!The pre wedding shoot really helped us be ready for the big day and we felt comfortable all day. They understand what sort of photos we wanted and they turned out perfectly how we imagend the. They managed to capture how great and chilled out the atmosphere was through the photos but also what type of people myself and my husband are from getting to know us from the get go, this really helped us feel at ease during our newly web shoot that we could 100% be ourselves. Darren & Kara are the most incredible photographers and captured our special day so perfectly. These guys are an absolute dream team,professional and the most loveliest,laid back couple which helped massively with all of the 'wedding stress'.They've captured all of those special moments,that our families and friends will treasure for a lifetime.
