Excellent bouldering gym with modern well planned and maintained routes. Has a gym, kids area, good selection of home made food, friendly staff, shop is well supplied and everything is nice and clean. By far the best place in the south west!

Had a really great day here. It was my sons birthday party and the staff were excellent at facilitating a fun session for four 8/9 yr olds with games, lots of climbs and climbing tips. Our coach was attentive and enthusiastic. We also had freshly made pizza afterwards and played board games upstairs. Climbing hangar is an excellent venue with a wide range of challenging climbing routes from entry level upwards. Picture below of the little hangar, two more levels of climbs available.

Class atmosphere. Banging food. W tunes. Out of this world setting. Really helpful to blossom my climbing ability to become the beast that i am today. Joe and charlie have been especially helpful on this journey to be the best climber in all hangars nationwide

Thought it would be a nice idea to drop in on our way from London. Checked to see if it was open. Website and maps said yes.Turned up after 5 hours drive and an hour out of the way. The centre was closed at 3:15on a Friday afternoon. Please keep people informed

Really great climbing centre!Loads of routes, gets really busy but there's always space to climb.Staff are helpful and friendly and the manager was super understanding and accommodating for a particular request.Thoroughly recommend this place and all the people there.

My son (9) and I have been getting into bouldering recently and teaching ourselves the ropes (or lack thereof). I wish we'd come here first because it's super beginner-friendly with great staff and some easy routes to get started with. Nice that it's so easy to get to as well; it took us about 15 minutes to cycle from Exeter St David's station and there's ample covered bike parking.

Attended for an event which was great.I will say, however, that the regulars treated us as though we were trash as we were using an area they wanted to use. Only the staff made you feel welcome. It was also horrificly busy (Thursday after work). It was hard to walk between people safely, and regulars made you feel like you were getting in the way even though we followed the instructor. That said, I would love to go when it is quiet and with an instructor.Although side note that membership and refreshments are expensive as hell.
