Beautiful building and a very high spec but comfortable restaurant, the service is high end but it’s the perfect blend of fine and casual dining, a winning combo. Staff were helpful, friendly and very attentive, filling up your water when needed was a classy touch. They lose a star for the squid starter, the sauce it came with was delicious but the squid was very tough and tasteless really poor for such a beautifully presented dish. The ribeye steak however was absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection and seasoned well, could not have been better. Overall a good experience and would recommend.

Masons is a beautiful restaurant, however the service was rubbish. Staff constantly reminding me of the price???? Not remembering my order and food was cold! We went for my husband birthday and I brought my daughter who ordered a starter from the main menu and staff assured we couldn’t afford 3 starters? Rude, when food arrived an hour after ordering it was cold! Bits of the menu were missed off! Deco beautiful, staff rude! Don’t visit for a special occasion.

Fantastic place!Really glad we found this restaurant on a recent visit to Manchester.Traffic was hell getting there (apparently now the norm due to the one way system) but they held our table for us and explained they would try to serve us quickly due to another booking.The food was excellent. I enjoyed the pie which had a lovely pastry casing (not soggy). Desserts were small but very good.Service was friendly but at times too much - we were asked by 4 staff if our mains were OK which made it look like they didn't know who was doing the check backs. Grateful to have been asked though as some places don't bother.Would return.

Fantastic service and food. We had a birthday dinner for two and they made the birthday girl feel special. Ambiance was modern and luxurious. We had starters of arancini and croquettes that were delicious. Mains we opted for steaks that were perfect with a cherry & almond dessert. All of this was absolutely divine. This place will take care of you and highly recommend

I went yesterday with a couple of friends and we were really impressed, the menu and the service have improved a lot and everything was wonderful, especially the chicken terrine as a starter it was divine, we even had a very funny moment at the end that closed the night with a golden key, when we paid the bill we booked a table for the next few weeks so we will be back soon and will definitely recommend.

The staff here were really attentive and professional without being intrusive. I was there for a birthday party, and they went out of their way to help us make it a memorable night. The food was clean, fresh, and delicious, and the drinks flowed at exactly the right pace... way too fast. Would highly recommend for intimate parties or just some smart cocktails.

Lovely building, great service. Loved the celeriac, truffle and hazelnut soup.Dad loved the spiced mussels.Parents loved the half chicken and 12 hour briased beef cheeks. My fish and chips was ok. Will go back again even better whilst the 50% off food offer was on.
