Whitewell Holiday Park
This is a holiday Park with static caravans, touring vans and tents. Site has club house which is mainly open through the school holidays and generally Friday and Saturday through the season. Also has two children's play areas.

Just got back from here...nice holiday park we stayed for 4 nights it is what it is there are showers and toilets which where always clean..on site bar for drinks which is ok..there is also a burger van but didn't have anything from it..ice cream van comes round in the evenings which is very good..Never had any problems with fellow campers..Word of warning can get very windy and we had a lot of rain at night time but that's the chance you take with British weather..You are packed in close to each other but we never had a problem with anyone else. There is also a shop on site that's sells the essentials. We enjoyed are stay apart from the weather..Also staff seemed very nice

On arrival i went to reception and found the Gentleman quite abrupt with his questions about had we booked, what size tent etc? (we had booked and paid over the phone and already answered these questions) He also tried to charge us £68 until we pointed out the website was advertising £45 for three nights. We were then taken to our pitch on slope quite close to other tents. The shower facilities were ok except you had to que for quite a while for a shower as there wasn't many compared to the amount of people on site. The first night was noisy but by saturday night we had a tent pitched within 2 ft of our tent with 4 youngsters in it constantly drinking & swearing and the noise went on until 3 am (i don't blame the youngsters as they were told where to put the tent by the owner) 'A family freindly campsite' as mentioned on the websit....i don't think so. I think the owners were just looking to cash in on a busy weekend and were not bothered wheather families enjoyed there stay or not. We have two children aged 5&7 and definately won't go there again or recommend it to anybody. A few false Statements from the website = Spacious camping area - No, Dogs kept on leads - No, No noise after 11.30 - Yes, constant noise going on into the early hours of the morning. Thank goodness we had great weather and were able to explore some lovely beaches around Tenby, if the weather hadn't been so good i think we would of ended up coming home early.

We camped here with our children (8-13) at end of August. We found the facilities clean and pretty well maintained. The tent site had a large open area where the children made friends and organised football, rounders, etc themselves. We walked a few times to the beach at Lydstep, which is around 10-15 minutes away, over a main road. Not totally perfect, but OK for accompanied children who can walk under their own steam. There is a very convenient bus service to Tenby which stops very close to the site, which we used. The site had a hot dog van each day (and for breakfast), as well as a bar. We didn't try either, but there was also an ice cream van during the middle of the afternoon. The children particularly enjoyed our stay. The site wasn't what I'd call 'pretty', so might be more suitable for families rather than someone looking for a tranquil break in beautiful surroundings. We were happy with our choice of site and enjoyed our stay.

Peaceful nice pitch. Toilets are clean and adequate. First day here. Up to now my only little moan would be that my two dogs are not allowed in the bar. Although they can sit with us outside its raining so not really do able. Staff were welcoming and friendly on arriving. Not too far at all from Tenby and dogs are allowed on South beach. Food is available on site in the evenings but breakfast was had in town. A hidden gem is the little farm tea shop just down the road. Hens and chickens pigs and sheep happily running round in the field and fresh eggs and veg for sale.

Stayed overnight with The Safe Foundation at campsite. The owner had kindly offered to host us for free!!!Compared to many campsites we encountered whilst running the Big City, Little City challenge (walk from Cardiff to Start David's) this site we considered luxurious. The site includes good WiFi, warm showers and bar with pool. The staff are friendly and love a good challenge of pool.If I was to do camping again in Tenby, I may consider returning to this place ✔

Very nice campsite. Clean showers and toilets. Good drainage on fields during heavy rain. I would rate 5 stars but it is a bit noisy on weekends. Not the sites fault I know but on the website it said they tell everyone to keep the noise down after 11pm. Well there was a party going on till 3 and the security didn't do much in the way of stopping it. Apart from that I would recommend it.

A nice clean, very friendly family run site but not great for campers. The pitching field is the most open to the elements and closest to the coast so full on coastal breeze and farthest from everything on site. The toilets, showers and wash up area are really far from the campers field. I will never understand sites that put mobiles and hardstands for caravans and camper vans all around the facilities when it's the campers that actually need them!! To make it even more difficult they've installed a sheep wire fence the whole length of the electric pitches AND and man made soil wall on the campers side so that you can't even cut through to the toilet block you have to walk the full length of the field and all the way around. It was a long walk in the dark and lashing rain with small kids to go to the toilet. The ground in slightly hilly but easy to peg. However the man made soil mounds/wall with strimmed grass clippings provided the perfect spot for rodents to live witch tunnelled under our tent and kept us awake and then chewed through the tent floor.the bar is comfortable but a bit dated, Not much in the kids arcade which was fine because they couldn't spend all their pocket money! The two playgrounds are tiny and really only toddler sized stuff. The only access to Lydstep Beach is pedestrian only via the private Static mobile site across the road. It's a good 10 min walk downhill to the cove so you need to travel lightly to the beach as its an even longer walk up!!I can't fault the people running the site they were fantastic but just based on proximity to the facilities (and the fact my large tent was eaten) we all said we would never camp there again. And it's such a pity!

Fantastic site perfect for families. The meadows was spacious with electric hook up and water tap. Great facilities very clean toilet and shower area. High washing up facilities for a change. Very friendly helpful staff give a warm welcome to this family run site. Bar well stocked , entertainment room great for kids. When we return to Tenby we will definitely stay at Whitewell again!A true gem of a find!

If you like Ryan Air, you will love this campsite. The management are rude and money grabbing, everything you want has a price despite paying fairly high prices for the pitch. If you pay for an electric pitch, you still have to pay for the electric (which keeps tripping). If you want a shower, you have to pay for it and the meters for the £1 coin is outside the cubicle. If you want to take your dog, they charge by the day for it.We put a gazebo up for one day when the weather was bad and the obnoxious little manager harassed us on three separate occasions to come and pay him £10 for the pleasure. If he could somehow charge you for brushing your teeth he really would. If you light a BBQ, you are permitted to only use it for the cooking of food and then immediately extinguish it, you are not permitted to leave it burning for warmth. You are not permitted any flames in it, even for kindling wood to light the coals! This is an all year round rule by the way, not related to the recent dry spell in any way. The BBQ police come round regularly through the evening and walk into your pitch to make sure you are cooking and that there are no flames. The toilet doors are bigger than the frames they reside in so you have to sit with one leg out-stretched to hold it closed. The beach they claim to be a short walk is in fact a fair walk down a busy A road with no pavement and then through the middle of a caravan park, over a mile in total. There is so much more I could say but the character limit of Google reviews prevents me. I really recommend you avoid this site, you will regret it if you stay here.
