This really is a top find in Scarborough situated just down the the middle road ,from the Grand,the olde pub atmosphere,is gripping.Formerly owned by the present landlady's father,it ischock full of interesting curios.A central staircase was removed,to make way for more bums on seats.the beer prices will be a delight to hear.looking forward to returning,when we shall report further.

If you like a bit of rough and tumble this is for you! Decorated with football tops throughout, this is a very local boozer for local people and on a budget. Kareoke on busy nights and a pool table in the other side, this is definitely a meeting place for the younger generation. That said everyone was friendly with us and we had a great time.

Great pub, welcoming. Had a great DJ on Saturday and Sunday and the bar staff was very helpful and friendly (serenity).

Been coming in this Pub on/off for the last 10 years. Proper old school pub with a traditional look and drinks fairly priced.

Visited this pub twice twice when on holiday in Scarbrough absolute gem of a boozer poroper spit and sawdust yes its a prodestant pub so if u follow celtic it could be a bit of an issue but i loved it i support Chelsea and Glasgow Rangers the last time i was there they had a parrot in a cage right next to the bar, cant wait to visit this legend of a pub next time im in Scarbrough
