Fantastic training from start to finish. From my first phone call to Jim setting the dates for my training and arranging my tests - all was done smoothly. Eddie my instructor was an absolute wealth of knowledge. I cannot recommend highly enough!

Absolutely fantastic !!! I started my class 2 (cat c) training with Jim @ AVT and within 3 days he has managed to get me through not only my test but also my drivers cpc mod 4 with minimal stress ,as an instructor he is perfect .. he explains everything in a clear and easy to digest manner, is very calm and understanding yet firm and with authority when needed (like me for example not watching my speed and getting too close to kerbs)I cant thank him enough and will most definitely be going back for class 1 instructionThank you so much again!!

I have just completed my Cat C (old Class 2) Licence with Jim from Approved Vocational Training (AVT).Being older and set in my ways and also experienced in driving 7.5t vehicles, I needed the rough edges taking off.Jim is thorough, a good instructor and tells it how it is. No punches pulled, he taught me what I needed to know, where I was going wrong and what to do to get it right. No soft and fluffy hype, just facts.I can highly recommend Jim to anyone wishing to take up HGV driving. He has a vast amount of experience to pass on to new learners gained from his career in the Army and civilian employment since. He builds a good rapport with you and gets the results you need.Being a single instructor school, you get a personal 1to1 service. No mucking about, he will have you test ready in just a few days of driving. He will arrange the tests for you from the training centre in Telford.

I undertook my C+E driver training with AVT and can not praise them enough. From start to finish I received excellent instruction and both Jim and Eddy's years of experience was evident with how they delivered the training throughout providing me with the instruction and tips I needed to pass my test first time around. A well organised training programme that provided me with highly qualified and experienced trainers who helped me with the skills and knowledge needed to go progress from a class 2 to class 1 license.
