The Little Houses

I took a group of my Son and friends for a week of activities around Fort William. The Little Houses were perfectly adequate, providing basic and comfortable accommodation with all the necessary facilities and easy access to the places we wanted to visit. The hosts were excellent.

Our family of 5 had the opportunity to stay in one of the houses. Beautiful all around & excellent service from the owners.We had an amazing time & will definitely return one day.

Very clean. Friendly and accommodating host with good local knowledge. Kitchen had everything we needed. Plenty of hot water in bathroom. Comfy beds. Deer and squirrels seen daily from house. Pleasant short walks (& swimming) along river without having to get in the car, but also in a good central location for driving to mountain biking centres and a variety of munros. A short drive up to the Ice Age parallel 'roads' is recommended!

22/08/22 - 28/08/2022Amazing little house! Honestly number 11 became a home from home. Host was brilliant too, very friendly and helpful!We loved the fact it was pet friendly. Had good quality utensils and pans. Immaculate conditions, great quality bedding and nice furnishings too.Amazing views of the mountains, deer and a little red squirrel. Honestly will look to stay again in the near future!

Great secluded wee place to chill out, but still close to everything you need.Stayed here for 5 nights in a cabin with my wife, and we loved it. Cabins were clean and had all the facilities we needed for our stay. Picnic benches, barbecue pits and smoking areas are all catered to for each lodge, alongside parking for your car if you need it. The owners are lovely too, and nothing is too much trouble for them.Plenty of local wildlife to look out for too, such as the bats that come out in late afternoon, as well as the 2 resident stags that like to mooch about outside the larger cabins.Spean Bridge is just a few minutes drive away and there is a great inn on the main road about 5 minutes walk from the cabins. Highly recommend their fish and chips! Fort William is less than a half an hour away if you want to shop, go hillwalking or have a larger selection of restaurants.

Fab location, excellent hosts,property is clean and presentable. Very comfy mattress. Spar shop in Spean Bridge (3 miles).Deer outside am.Train Station to Fort William 2 minutes walk.Glen Roy and Glen Nevis to die for.

Just spent a fantastic family break away staying at The Little Houses. The accommodation was spotlessly clean (it is one of the cleanest places we have stayed), beds were really comfortable, and everything we needed was available. The site was lovely with nature, there are chickens roaming free, deer and horses. It was a relaxing break , it was secluded but it was still close enough to amenities and walking distance to a couple of bars. The owners David and Beverley were very friendly and gave us info about what was nearby to visit.

Fantastic facilities, house is stocked with all you can need to make your stay comfortable. Wonderful location, by a river and you can see Ben Nevis. Amazing walk routes on site and close by. Fort William is a few min drive away so can do shopping. Hosts are friendly and accommodating. Recommend for stay summer or winter.

This was great - offered everything I needed. Comfortable and warm. The shower was barely useable as the water pressure was so low, but I’m willing to totally overlook that.One shame was having first impressions totally soured by another guest who was incredibly rude and obnoxious. She accosted me for driving beyond the 10mph speed limit on site, before walking in front of my car and blocking my way. Incredibly stupid and dangerous. I was polite back to her, but I do wish I had put her in her place. I must have been doing 15mph tops and had just come off 7 hours of motorway and dual carriageway. She was a piece of work.Anyway, I’d happily stay here again. It’s great!
