A Saturday 2 course lunch with friend. Service, Food was good plus a lovely welcome by John, wearing a Christmas too & hat.We was not rushed plus we had the added bonus of the 30% off our main courses.

I tried booking a table at Norton Grange while in the car and I got to the book now and the signal dropped. I then rang to see if I could book on the phone. My phone signal dropped again. Less than a minute later I was called straight back by one of the staff members. They then booked me in straight away. When I arrived the building was covered in beautiful Christmas lights. As we went in the inside was just as lovely as the outside. We're went to the bar and we're served straight away. Then seated at a table. The food was well priced with good sized portions and the cocktails went down well too. All In all I would definitely recommend going here, the staff cannot do enough for you.

We received some vouchers in the post, inviting us to have 30% off in Norton Grange. This seemed quite an enticing offer, so we decided to book a table for our anniversary.We arrived to the restaurant, and were greeted by the sound of multiple children screaming. Red flag number 1.We go up to the bar to ask about our reserved table, and the rather spotty faced teenager is unsure. He asks 4 times for the name. Then sits us at a table which is not suitable for a wheelchair user (as stated in our booking). We reiterate that this is not suitable and end up finding our own solution. Red flags 2-4Drinks are ordered through the app and arrive within 10 minutes. Not great but not awful.Then, comes the food. Or, better put, it doesn’t come. We ordered at 19:55. Granted, it was a little busy. We ordered very simple food with no adjustments.An hour goes by… we flag down a server to ask when it’ll be out, and we are told 5 more minutes. Half an hour after this, we are well and truly ticked off, and now hungry. I go to the bar (my partner can’t, as it isn’t accessible) and ask about the hold up. The food hasn’t even been started yet.The restaurant is filled with children running and screaming, and hacked off diners. And we just want out.I ended up getting a refund in cash as they couldn’t do card, and it was honestly the worst night out in a long time.Upon leaving, we spoke with another customer, and he echoed our experience.

Me and my partner had a starter, burger and pudding each. The food was tasty, very reasonable prices. Ordered and paid at the bar, which we prefer. Food arrived quickly. Pub had a nice atmosphere. Would definitely go again!

There was a noticeable shortage of staff so we stood around for a bit as wanted to let someone know we had arrived as we had booked.Service was slow at bar taking order but really this was because one lady trying her best to do everything. We ordered smaller lunch portions and they were great - plenty big enough and good pub food.

First time visit for me, my wife and our dog, and were pleasantly surprised. We had (incorrectly) heard that the pub was not especially dog friendly, which was not true, and we found the staff to be friendly and the interior more cozy than we expected. The carvery was good value, and although the Yorkshire Pudding was lacking in taste and texture the overall experience was good. We will return.

Very sad. Worked here in it's heyday with different management. It was always busy with a great atmosphere, always buzzing. Festive meal was VERY disappointing. Starter and pud were ok but Turkey Dinner a disaster. Turkey was like sawdust, very, very dry. Hardly any gravy and no bread sauce or cranberry sauce!Well done to the two people who had been left to serve bar and food. Under the circumstances you deserve a mention.We have cancelled a future family booking.

Lovely visit to Norton Grange today. Lovely food. Me and my son enjoyed the carvery and my husband ordered from the menu. Food was great and so was the service. Chef Dan had lots patience with my 5 year old as he picked his carvery. All staff very welcoming.

Staff were really friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, it took a long time for our food to be delivered. However, when it did come, everyone’s meals were hot and tasty.

Been going here for years I usually have the same meals , chicken and bacon salad or lasagne always excellent .The background music is always on a low volume ,not anymore it’s loud and unpleasant asked if it had to be so loud and was told that things are changing as the pub is under new management!Two weeks later.Thank you for replying to my review .All is well again ,no loud music so I can enjoy the meal in comfort.
